Briar's Pov

" Hey" Bati nya

"Hey" bati ko rin pabalik. Tumabi naman sya ng upo sa'kin, kaya hinayaan ko nalang.

"Tough Day is it?" Paninimula nya.

" Well, you've seen what have happened earlier. What do you think?" Saad ko

"Yeah, it's tough. May we talk?" Tanong nya. Bobo ba to? Nag-uusap na nga kami, nagtatanong pa.

"We're already talking, tss" I hissed.

" I mean, about us." Saad nya kaya nilingon ko sya, at nakatingin na pala sya sa'kin.

" Wala ng tayo Nathan. So technically, there's no need to talk about us" I said and then avoided my gaze from him.

Natahimik naman kami at parehong nasa unahan ang tingin. At ng nagsawa na siguro sa katahimikan ay sya rin mismo ang bumasag.

"I'm sorry" he said.

" Hmm? Sorry for what? For hurting me? For cheating at me? What?" I bombarded him these questions.

"For everything" he said with full of sincerity.

" Nangyari na yun Nathan, there's no need for you to bring back the past. " Saad ko.

Then again, there's silence invading again. At sya rin ulit ang bumasag ng katahimikang iyon.

" I was force to do that." Saad nya

" Do what?" Tanong ko

" Simula nung naging tayo Briar, minahal kita. Wait, scratch that. Mahal parin kita-" I cut him off

" Tch, mahal mo parin ako? Then you shouldn't have done it. You shouldn't have hurt me" puno ng hinanakit kong saad.

" It was my mom. When the time that she visited our school back then and knew that I have a girlfriend, binalaan nya ko. She said that if I won't leave you, then she'll find a way to bring down my sister. Diba sinabi ko naman sa'yo that she's very manipulative" nilingon ko naman sya.

Tinignan nya naman ako ng puno ng pag-asa.

"Of course, I trusted my sister that's why I declined and said that I won't leave you. But I was mistaken, she started ruining my sister's life that even dad can't resolve it." He said full of sadness

" That's why she let you have a fiance ha?" Tanong ko at tumango naman sya.

" Yeah, and that's my biggest mistake that I ever have in my life. Nasaktan ko ang pinakamamahal ko" sabi nya then caught my arm and hold it. Hindi ako umangal at ewan ko ba kung bakit. Siguro nga, marupok talaga ako. But I still love him, so much.

" It's always been you Baby, always been" saad ko. Binawi ko naman ang kamay ko at saka binaling ulit ang tingin sa unahan.

" Then why do need to kiss her? "

" My mom's there, our mom was. And we don't have any other choice" saad nya, di ko naman mapigilang umiyak habang inaalala ang tagpong yun. Pero pinahid ko rin naman agad.
