C H A P T E R 2

"Do you like to have some happy meal?" Kuya Daryl asked me.

Alangan naman na yung steering wheel ang tanongin nya, tatalon talaga ako ng sasakyan pag sumagot yun.

"Happy meal? What's that?"

Is that happy meal that he's talking about will make make me happy?
But I'm happy right? right? or maybe I'm not really happy. Maybe I'm just really convincing myself that I'm happy when in reality I'm not.

"Heres your order Sir, Thank You!"

After he received our order he started to drive again. I noticed na lumagpas na sya sa dapat na lilikuan namin but hinayaan ko nalang sya, Maybe he was planning to bring me somewhere.
I trust him naman that's why I don't really care kung saan nya man ako dadalhin besides I know na wala syang gagawing masama sa akin.

I think I have fallen asleep, nang buksan ko kasi ang aking mga mata ay napansin kong naka-park na ang aming sinasakyan, pinagmadan ko ang aking paligid and I was surprised to see that we are at the sea side.

"Naka tulog ka kanina, sayang di mo tuloy nakita yung mga lugar na nadaanan natin. Pero don't worry, dadaan pa naman ulit tayo doon mamaya"

" How long did I slept?" tanong ko dito habang kinukusot- kusot ang aking mga mata gamit ang aking kamay habang nahikab.

I'm still sleepy.

" Uhh 30 minutes? 50? di ko alam eh" he said while scratching the back of his neck.

"Tara labas tayo, doon tayo sa may gilid oh. Doon sa may niyog, maganda doon lalo na ngayon at malapit na mag sunset"

Kinuha nya ang mga pag kain namin na binili sa Mcdo pati na din ang picnic blanket na hindi ko alam kung saan nanggagaling.

I removed my seat belt and get my phone with my wallet attached to it at the back seat of the car where I put my bag.

Kuya Daryl opened the door for me as we made our way to that coconut tree.

Di kaya kami mahulugan ng buko dito?

Inayos nya ang mga pag kain namin with that happy meal. He ordered Five. It looks like a house made out of a box but at the top of its roof there is something like it's ear that you can also use to carry that box. Get's nyo ba?

The Box is also color red with a big smile in the front of it.

I wonder what's inside of it.

Is it supposed to have a pixie dust or something that will make me happy?
I'm so clueless about this thing. I never knew McDonald's had such a thing. All I know about McDonald's is it's a fast food chain with their delicious chicken and their saucy spaghetti.

Spaghetti nilang minsang kinukulang sa sauce.

"Halika dito at umupo kana"

Umupo ako sa harap nya habang tinatanggal nya na sa plastic ang mga pag kain while me, well I'm still eyeing that happy meal.

"You want to open your happy meal already?" sabi nito sa akin habang may nag lalarong ngiti sa kanyang labi.

"Go on, open it already."

Pangungumbinsi nito sa akin at iniaabot pa talaga ang limang happy meal sa akin. I place them all infront of me, thinking of what should I open first. The one on the left? The second on the right? or the one who's in the middle?
