"Okay guys you've had some time to think about it, now it's time to decide if we're gonna do an open or closed vote"

Emily: "open"

"Hold up hold up, what's the difference?" James asked

"An open vote is when we all see who everyone is voting for and a closed vote is where we can't" I explained to James and he smiled putting his arm over my shoulder

"Thanks babe" he said smiling down at me and I returned it

"You know what? Why don't we have a vote about whether or not to have an open or closed vote"

"West!" Everyone said

"What?"

Michelle: "And will that vote be open or closed?"

"Oh yeah, that's right"

Miss Kate: "okay we're gonna do an open vote that way everyone can see where we stand" everyone agreed
"Those who think that Hunter should be the male national soloist raise your hand" Amanda, Thalia, Riley, Emily, Hunter, Chloe raised there hands and phoebe counted. At this point it looked like it would be even but then Michelle raised her hand tipping it over to hunters side

"It's official, Hunter you are the new male soloist" they clapped for him and Eldon rushed out of the room

James went over to Michelle and Riley whilst Hunter came up to me

"Hey" I looked to Hunter and turned around ignoring him
"Woah, mini Michelle. What's up?" He said coming in front of me again

"How dare you? All of this? The dance battle to get Michelle? And now the solo. You've taken everything away from Eldon. He broke up with her because of you. And now he lost the solo because of you. Just because you've had some stupid crush Hunter. If you wanted the solo you would've said at the start so all of this was just to spite him. Eldon did nothing to you, he was with Michelle. Michelle chose him, so why do you have a problem with him? You were like a brother to me. But if this is how you treat your teammates, I don't want a part of it" I turned away from him and James was there, so I just took his hand and went off

I walked into studio b where I saw Noah and James playing music

"James was an amazing musician and whenever we get the chance to, he'd go on the drums and play something which I love to listen to"

"Hey" James greeted me as I came inside

"Hi guys, what's up"

"Well Noah here, won't sing for the fundraiser. He's to chicken"

"I'm not" Noah squeaked and my eyes widened
"My voice is cracking. I can't" I pursed my lips and looked to James who laughed

"It's not that bad. You have to do it"

Noah: "Well we're holding auditions so we'll find someone else"

"Yeah whatever. Olive you should audition" my eyes widened at his words before I shook my head

"Me? No way"

"Come on I've heard you sing"

"You said you won't bring that up again. And no"

"Come on babe" I shook my head
"Can you at least watch the auditions with us?" I nodded and he sat me on his lap before bringing the first person in

As soon as she started singing I almost died. I buried my head into James chest at the high note and tried not to laugh

"Woo!" Beth said ending her performance and me and Noah were trying not to laugh out loud
