confused,
she is anxious
in her sudden
decision.
but can you
blame her?
she's just afraid
that the past
repeat itself.
she has been
in deem agony.
she has been
in distress,
carrying those anxieties.
simple words
and scenarios,
guide her
to awful thoughts.
and now
she's insulating herself.
hoping that
she'll get over this—
soonest.
