𝐌𝐲 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 [𝐆𝐨𝐣𝐨 𝐱 𝐘𝐮𝐮𝐣𝐢] 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐔!!

Chapter Five

"Hey! Everyone settled down, please! Those students who are not in their seats please go back now! Hurry hurry!" Satoru urged the students while rapping the top of the table with his lesson plan. 

The students immediately go back to their seats. Despite Satoru's playful attitude towards them, he still takes his job as an educator very seriously, which is very surprising. His colleague had a hard time accepting the fact that Satoru is very serious when it comes to his job as a teacher. They often saw his mischievous side that's why they're not very used to his professional side at all. 

Satoru didn't take any offense about their reaction; moreover, he enjoyed their speechless reaction. He enjoys the attention in other words.

While everyone was busy going to their respective seats, Satoru habitually looked toward Yuuji's seat. When he saw his soulmate sitting obediently, he couldn't help but smile. When Yuuji felt the familiar sensation of someone staring at him, he unconsciously gazed toward the Teacher's table in front of them. And there, he saw Satoru looking at him with a softened gaze, when Satoru saw Yuuji looking at him; he lowered his glasses and winked at him. That made Yuuji's cheeks heat up and he immediately avoided the other's gaze. 

'How cute!' Satoru giggled as he thought that. When he saw all the students sitting down, he cleared his throat and said, "Today we have an additional student in this class. He transfers from another school, so everyone be nice to him!" He cheerfully said and pushed his glasses. 

Despite his introduction, Nobara can't help but raise her hand, "Yes Nobara?" Satoru addressed as he pointed toward Nobara.

"A transfer student in the middle of the school year? Is that allowed?" Nobara asked full of doubts, the rest of the class also noticed the unusual situation. But their teacher doesn't find it uncommon at all, "I already said that he's a transfer so of course it's allowed. Normally no students would transfer in the middle of the school year, but this guy had his own personal reason for transferring so he decided to transfer. Well, don't mind these small details. Let us all welcome the newest student! You can come in now!" Satoru said as he faced the classroom door. 

Everyone waited for the new student to open the door and see who this transfer was. The classroom door slowly opened, and they saw the gloomy person gingerly walking in front of the class. 

The new student didn't have any courage to look up, and half of his face was covered by his long side bangs. He's holding the strap of his bag and nervously scratching the surface; the students quickly lose interest when they see the new student. 

"You can introduce yourself now." Satoru reminded which made the new student flinch and immediately straighten his posture, "H-Hi everyone, my name is Yoshino Junpei, I just turned 18 this month and I like watching movies--- I especially go to the cinema just to watch some movies, S-something happened in my previous school which made me transfer here. Please take care of me." Junpei hurriedly introduced himself which made him stutter. 

He bowed a full 90-degree bow, and the students laughed when they saw him become nervous just from the introduction. That made Junpei even more nervous, in his mind, he thinks everyone is mocking him for being so timid. He looks at Satoru to ask for help, "Hey! Stop laughing! You sit beside Yuuji," He said and asked Yuuji to raise his hand for Junpei to see who he was talking about. 

When he saw Yuuji's raised hand, he immediately walked toward the seat beside him and took out his notebooks. When Yuuji saw him nervously placing his books on top of the desk he couldn't help but help him organize his things. 

"It's okay, don't be nervous," Yuuji said as he smiled gently at Junpei. When Junpei saw his smile, he unconsciously relaxed and smiled back at Yuuji. 

Yuuji habitually looks above Junpei's head, when he sees the numbers, he can't help but widen his eyes. 

30 days and 5:40:12

Yuuji just looked at the number in a daze, this is the first time that he encounters someone close to him with that kind of number on their death timer. 

All of his classmates had at least 40 to 50 years on their Death timer, even Satoru had a longer lifespan than him, and now he saw that there was someone with a shorter lifespan than him.

Yuuji, once again, habitually looks at the window to see his death timer, but his eyes widen again because of shock!

This is probably the most shocking day for him, the level of surprise surpasses when he sees his and Satoru's red thread being connected to each other. 

The number above his head extends, instead of 2 Months, it became 20 Years! 

What is happening? Since when did the numbers change? He was so preoccupied with other things that he didn't even notice this! 

Yuuji's mind is in a chaotic state, he doesn't know what is happening and why this is happening at all. 

Yuuji didn't recover until he heard Satoru calling his name, "Itadori Yuuji?" Yuuji snapped out of his dazed and immediately raised his hand, "Here!"

'Let's think about this later, let's just focus on studying first.'  He reminded himself, but throughout the whole class his gaze would wander towards the window and look above his head, and every time he saw the numbers his surprise would intensify to another level. 

 "Uhm, Hello," Yuuji was brought back to reality when he heard Junpei's cautious voice, "Hi, I'm Yuuji. I forgot to introduce myself, I'm sorry for that." He said while showing an apologetic smile. Junpei hurriedly waved his hands and said, "No, No. It's okay. I-I'm Junpei. Nice to meet you." He said and extended his hand towards Yuuji, Yuuji immediately grasped his hand and shook it.

"I don't know what happened to your previous school, but I hope you enjoyed your time here. And also, I hope we get along, I also like watching movies. If you like, we can watch it together sometime." Yuuji's enthusiastic invitation made Junpei very happy, he thought that he would probably really enjoy his time as a student in this school. 

"Thank you," He bashfully said and focused his gaze in front of the class. Yuuji also stops bothering him. And his mind started to drift somewhere again. 

He clearly remembers the last time he saw the numbers above his head, and it's still 2months. And after Satoru came at him saying he wanted to be a soulmate with him, he forgot to check it again. Yuuji suddenly feels like he reached enlightenment. 

Is it possible for his Death Timer to extend because he finally found his soulmate? Yuuji looks at Satoru giving a lecture in front, and he can't help but feel light-hearted. He needs to confirm his guess. Yuuji's finally made up his mind and became impatient.

'I wish the end of class reach fast!'
