'You can take it off now,' Holtzmann whispered, and the woman pulled the cloth upwards and off her face slowly.
Holtzmann was facing her, a smile on her face and Erin's eyes moved from her lips to her eyes, her was face lit up with a spread of dotted white light. Almost like stars across her skin. Erin turned her head to the cluster of lights above them, fairy lights strung against the roof of what was a little tent and she smiled. She turned a little on her knees, touching the soft mound of blankets beneath them, she squeezed them with her hand.
'Air mattress?'
Holtz nodded, watching as Erin looked around, the lights littered not only the roof, but the sides of the tent and it was magical. Erin turned completely, looking at the opposite end and she brought her hand to her mouth in a small gasp.
'Jilly.'
Erin turned back to the woman, and she grabbed her, wrapping her arms around her tightly, hugging her and Holtz smiled into the cuddle. A small television had been set up, with the Netflix logo on the screen, two bowls of popcorn on the floor, a handful of beers in a little ice box.
'JIllian Holtzmann, ' Erin whispered, pulling away, her hands resting on the blonde's shoulder, 'this is the most perfect secret cinema.'
Holtz smiled softly, looking past Erin and to the screen.
'We can watch whatever you like, it's your secret cinema.'
Erin smiled, pulling away, looking to the screen and then back to the blonde.
'Why Jill?'
Erin's face was soft, her smile dreamy almost and all Holtz could think of doing was grabbing her and kissing her, pulling her into her arms and never letting her go. Letting her snuggle into her as they watched a movie, planting kisses to her neck, stroking her arms, just holding her, never letting her go.
'Just to prove a point,' Holtzmann stated.
'A point?' Erin asked, moving some of the pillows, Holtzmann taking one from her and pushing it down behind her.
'Yeah, that your silly romance is actually real, and not silly at all.'
Erin smiled, laying herself down into the array of blankets and she sighed.
'Are you trying to romance me?'
Holtz swallowed, sliding down next to Erin and she shook her head.
'No,' Holtzmann said quietly, as Erin looked up at her, 'I just don't have the chance to make anyone happy, maybe I'm just projecting or something. I dunno, but if I can make anyone happy right now, I want it to be you Er. You deserve so much happiness.'
Erin smiled into the pillow, tilting her head down a little.
'You deserve happiness too.'
Holtz nodded, wanting to confess to Erin that she was her happiness. Instead, she leaned away, reaching for the television remote she had thrown to the side, finding it surprisingly quickly and she passed it to the other woman.
'Whatever you like.'
'Anything?'
'Anything.'
Erin snuggled into the blankets, the blonde lying next to her and Erin flicked through the menu, scanning titles.
'Die Hard?'
'Die Hard Erin?' Holtzmann questioned sarcastically, 'Really?'
'Well, you always pick something sappy for me, so maybe something for you?'
