Holtz smiled softly, looking over at Erin, her eyes half closed so she picked another romance movie.

'I love this movie.'

'I've never seen it.'

'Never?' Erin mumbled sleepily.

'Never.'

They were quiet as the movie began, and the engineer leaned back into the the couch, pulling her legs up, her body tilted a little towards the woman.

'Jill?'

'Yeah?'

'It's calms me because you gave it to me.'

Holtzmann smiled, 'I know Er.'

Erin sighed, the blonde hearing her breath become deeper, more rhythmic and before the opening credits of the film were even halfway done Erin was asleep, Holtz smiled, leaning over to make sure Erin was covered. She tucked the blanket in a little more around her. Her fingers moving gingerly from the blanket to touch the woman's exposed hand.

'Goodnight beautiful,' Holtz murmured.

She picked up the remote again, deciding to change the film to something more to her taste, but then changed her mind, deciding to give the romance a chance.

Erin opened her eyes, there was morning light flooding in from the lower floor windows and she remembered she had come back to the Firehouse, she sat up, her hair a tousled mess and she rubbed her face, moving her legs a little and then pulling them back into their warm blanket cocoon. Erin grinned, looking over to Holtzmann who was asleep on the other side of the couch. Her mouth was open, and tucked into the mound of blankets, Erin could see the glisten of saliva on one side of her mouth, and she grinned to herself, snuggling back into the warmth.

She awoke again about an hour later, this time opening her eyes slowly, the blonde was still next to her although she seemed closer and she felt herself freeze as she realised the blonde's arm was around her waist and she exhaled a little, deciding to let herself relax, enjoying the warmth and security of her arm on her. Erin closed her eyes briefly, the pressure of the Holtz's arm around her ignited the feeling in her stomach again and she let it grow a little, opening her eyes briefly to look at the blonde again. Her hair was messy, and some covered her forehead and ear and Erin reach over, touching it softly, tucking the hair away, sliding it behind her ear. The woman's skin was soft, her fingers skimmed it easily and Erin smiled, tucking her hands back beneath the covers. She looked at Holtz for a couple more seconds, then closed her eyes, sliding her hand to the arm that was around her. She only enjoyed the touch for a few more moments when suddenly Holtz pulled away, eyes opening, sitting up, fear obvious across her face.

'Erin, oh god I'm sorry.'

'Hey, it's okay, it's fine.'

'No, I'm..I didn't..I..' Holtz brought her hands to her forehead and then dropped them to the blanket, 'Erin, sorry..I fell asleep and I...'

'Jill,' Erin said with a laugh, 'it's fine.'

'I'm sorry, I'm-'

'Jilly,' Erin said quietly, leaning her head against the back of the couch, and Holtz looked at her, 'that was okay.'

The brunette smiled at the woman as Holtz eventually smiled back, relaxing a little, bringing her hands to her face, running her hand through her messy hair, most it had fallen from its clips and pins. Erin's eyes gazed over her, her creamy skin, perfectly crystal blue eyes and her hair, it was so long, and Erin liked seeing it out, something she hadn't really seen before.

Erin curled her body into the couch, pulling the blankets up, Holtzmann doing the same, moving closer to her and they gazed sleepily at each other. Their faces were close, heads against the back of the couch only an inch or two apart.
