Abby worked closely with Patty, both always invested in some sort of paranormal research with Abby writing notes for her upcoming book and she was always on the hunt for haunted places to visit or study.

They'd done a few interviews in the local newspaper and on television, with bundles of fan mail arriving each week, although lately it had died down, much to the relief of Erin, as most of it was for the blonde. Holtzmann would sit on the floor of the lab, letters and gifts strewn across the floor. Erin often shaking her head as the engineer became flustered, laughing loud at the amount of dinner invitations she would receive each week. And although Erin would catch Holtz blushing at all the attention, she never once would call any of the phone numbers left by interested female fans.

'It's been ages since we've had a Bust,' Holtzmann said, she was sprawled on the couch, and Erin was sitting next to her, reaching for another slice of the pizza they had ordered.

'Mmm,' Erin murmured in agreement, pulling at the cheese that was loose at the edge of the slice, pulling it up and into her mouth, tilting her head back, eating it. She leaned back to the box, reaching for another slice, putting it on a napkin and giving it to the blonde. Holtzmann took a bite, leaning back into the couch.

Erin curled herself up into the corner, picking at the pizza slice with one hand and holding onto the open the book she was reading with her other hand.

'For someone so educated I'm surprised you're into those novels.'

'Educated? Holtz I've seen the lesbian erotica books on your shelf.'

'They're educational Erin, research.' Holtz replied matter-of-factly, taking a huge bite of her pizza.

Erin rolled her eyes, returning to her book.

'Is that a new one?' Holtz asked, her mouth full, tilting her chin up and toward the book.

Erin nodded, 'Yeah.'

'Did they end up together? In the other?'

The physicist didn't look up from the novel, 'Yeah they did.'

'Did they run away or something?'

'No,' Erin said softly, 'they just broke the rules, you can't stop true love, that sorta thing.'

Holtz nodded into her food, taking another huge bite and chewing loudly.

'What's the new one about?'

Erin looked up at her, the blonde smacking her lips together as she licked them.

'Uhh, this guy is in love with someone he can't have, she's with someone else, but he thinks she's in love with him too.'

'Ohhh scandal,' the engineer said with a laugh, looking down to her last bite of her pizza and leaning over to the table to grab another

'Yeah, and I'm sure they end up together, but it's about the journey.'

Holtzmann laughed again, 'Oh, yeah the journey, sure.'

Erin laughed and Holtzmann leaned over to her, snatching the book out of her hands.

'Heyyy,' Erin said, trying to grab it back but the blonde tilted her body away from her, pizza in one hand, book in the other.

The blonde's eyes scanned the page, 'My, my Miss Gilbert.'

Erin began to blush.

'Holtz, give it.'

Holtzmann was still staring at the page, flicking to the next one with her thumb, moving herself on the couch as Erin attempted to lunge for the book.

'This is pretty steamy stuff,' Holtz stated, taking a bite of the pizza slice.
