Ava POV

I sat down on the front of the bleachers with Maudie and Ezra.

We couldn't wait to see Kyle's basketball game.

We made posters and even brought a megaphone.

We take our cheering seriously.

I sat on the left, Ezra was on the middle and Maudie was on the right.

"Remember to cheer your loudest when Kyle has the ball." I reminded them

Ezra and Maudie nodded.

I sighed and smiled.

I couldn't wait to cheer my crush on.

I know it sounds weird but I have actually developed feelings for him.

As we grew up, he became more mature and nicer.

He's actually funny now.

Kyles team walked inside the Basketball court, hyping each other up.

His eyes met with mine.

He looked so hot in his tank top.

I snapped out of my little trance and noticed that everyone was staring and whispering at something.

I looked at the direction everyone was looking at.

Then I saw why everyone was whispering and staring,

It was The Sharks.

Kyle's Teams opponent.

They're from Golden Vile preparatory.

A private school mostly filled with snobby rich kids

Though may I say they were hot-

The Sharks started strutting over to Kyle's team,

The Hedgehogs.

The name says it all.

The Sharks are supposedly better.

As seen from the last game they played,

They won by a huge margin.

However,

The hedgehogs have gotten better.

Not because I stalk Kyle's practices...

I mostly focus on Kyle when I do.

Rumors says that they got trained by a Australian basketball legend.

A Legend I cannot name.

Because I don't know his name.

Maybe he did that because our principal has a lot of power and connections

The Sharks got closer and closer to the hedgehogs.

Then they started glowering.

It was intense.

But also cringe at the same time.

I stood up and ran up to Kyle.

I tapped him on the shoulder and he tilted his head.

"What?" Kyle whispered.

"What's happening?" I asked.

"We're glowering with the sharks." Kyle said, maintaining eye contact with the Sharks.
