Stuck in a Limbo

I'm sitting under a cloudless velvet night
waiting for the skies to consume me,
I search miles and miles for the stars,
for a glimpse of light...…..
but all I see is an Endless black canopy.

Stuck in a Limbo,
the fire in me has lost its power to ignite,
sometimes sadness devours me,
sometimes I feel nothing,
as if this chest is empty
of a beating heart.

I sit here while the world
moves in the daylight,
waiting, hoping, stuck
stuck in feeling and not feeling.

So here I am searching for a star,
my friends who shine from afar
But all I can see is this midnight within my Heart
The skies in me are oh so dark.
