i remember having you in my arms that night
i didn't want to let you go
it was a comforting feeling to be able to finally hold you in my arms
you kept asking what i wanted to do
but honestly i was fine with sitting there holding you for two hours
but that's not what you wanted
you didn't want my comfort
you wanted hers
but she wasn't there anymore
so to forget about her
instead of letting me hold you like i loved
you leaned over and kissed me
i was so confused on why
i even asked you
but you didn't know.
you never knew
so now i'm sitting here reminiscing on a memory that doesn't even cross your mind
now you have her comfort again
and my touch is no longer needed.
