head empty, faulklock only 😭💝 anyways, we finally have a trailer for playpre!! this has been in the works for a long while, but i only got around to finishing it after the school year ended. i'm planning to remake this when i get around to learning the ways of sony vegas (i made this particular video on vsdc) with additional characters and better text, but for what we have should feed into my hyperfixation on natalie dormer and benedict cumberbatch SJSKIAJAK 🏃🏃
it kind of started when i stumbled on these fan edits of bbc sherlock's sherlock holmes and jamie moriarty from elementary by moondust. on youtube and i immediately thought, "wouldn't it be cool if i had something like this for my fic??"
(i actually got the idea of the intro scene from the first video but i had to make everything from scratch!! besides that the only thing i took inspo from this was the ship itself 😀)
and about two years since i first saw these videos, here we are.
this took me a week to finish, and to be honest it's been one of the most exciting times of my life so far. it's been a while since i actually video-edited something (since i've stuck myself into static edits up until this point). i also made sure to use natalie's lines that weren't spoken in her normal accent just to keep it real to the story (alice is french-canadian). also whoever got the references of the preview at the very beginning of the trailer gets a cookie or a biscuit (depending on your device) 🍪🍪🍪

the template for the preview image i used i took from this page called "premium 4k trailer" thingamajig. they basically had a psd pack for the preview along with those little credit things you see at the bottom of film posters.
