"Can you wait until I come back?" I asked.

"Why should I wait?" He asked.

I frowned in confusion.

He put his hands on my cheeks.

"I'm not going to Chumpon Kinn...I'm staying here with you" He said.

Then pressed his lips to mine.

"You can't convince me otherwise" He said chuckling as soon as he pulled away.

(Meanwhile)

Pete's P.O.V:

I took Praew to that place Vegas showed me at the forest as soon as I was discharged from the hospital.

He'll probably get angry at me for bringing someone else to his secret place but desperate times call for desperate measures.

And I wasn't going to let Praew die so...

"If you stay here for the time being it'll be fine" I said.

She nodded and thanked me.

"You should be careful too ok?" She asked.

I nodded.

Then turned and left.

There were fewer police officers at the forest on my way back.

And some of them had dogs.

Most of them were far but I heard a dog barking near me.

So I took off running as fast as I could.

The officer followed the dog my way as I ran through the trees.

I finally made it out of the forest but saw two police cars parked across the road.

I hoped that they didn't notice me or I won't be able to explain it to detective Top.

I walked past the cars and made it to the main road.

But I still had to look for Vegas.

He can't have gone to a hotel.

And Kinn was home recently and said he wasn't there.

Knowing how serious he is with his revenge he's probably in a secluded place away from the police.

It can't be the forest since the police dogs found the body we buried there.

And knowing that he's short on money it's definitely an abandoned place.

I finally found it...

I told the driver to drop me off at the train station and paid him then got off.

I noticed the warehouses near the train station and checked each one of them.

They were only four places.

I opened the door to the last one and turned on the flashlight on my phone then walked in cautiously.

I heard faint crying sound so I followed it.

Vegas was sitting on the ground with his back to the wall.

His eyes were closed and he had sweat on his forehead.
