HOW TO IDENTIFY AN INTROVERT.
Identifying an introvert can seem both easy and hard at the same time. Most times, you wouldn't truly know an introvert until you get to know them on a more personal basis. For some people, Introvercy is written clearly in their faces.
As I said before, knowing an introvert takes observation.
In Public, here are a few things you'd notice about an introvert:
1. They enjoy spending time with a small group of people.
2. They find comfort in solitude.
3. Some of them are more of writers than speakers.
4. They are sometimes misunderstood as weak, shy and incapable of accomplishing tasks.
5. They tend to observe more and pay more attention to detail.
In their Private life:
1. They feel tired after being amongst a crowd because it drains their energy.
2. They are overthinkers.
3. They value reflection.
4. They tend to think about the past than the present and may be slow to accept change.
I personally believe that Introvercy is a unique trait that everyone possesses including Extroverts. Introverts just have more of it. Most Extroverts are fueled by the energy a large crowd brings but they still need sometime to reflect. Reflecting is a normal human characteristic. It doesn't matter how long or how fast, as long as you do it. While Introverts may spend more time reflecting and meditating for longer hours, Extroverts may do it for a shorter time because they tend to make decisions very quickly and seek out to achieving their goals. This can pose as an advantage, because it makes it easier for them to execute their plans, and also as a disadvantage because they make rash decisions without thinking about them properly.
The Human Psychology and Personality is so broad and diverse that it may be a bit much too handle. We cannot fully understand the Human personality types but to ensure adequate knowledge, learning in sections is required. Since we're focused on Introverts, let's have a look at the types of Introverts.
