After a few moments, me and Max heard Dustin and Lucas talking, but we keep a look out, then we get up and go back to Dustin and Lucas after we heard 'When did Steve get so hairy'

"Right? I keep telling him he needs to tame that jungle, but he claims the ladies dig it." Dustin said to Lucas

"Let's see." I said taking the binoculars off of Lucas while Max stood beside me

"What?" Lucas said stunned, I look through the binoculars for a few seconds then give them to Max who also looks through them, she then moves them away from her eyes

"You guys realise, if there's a gate down there, it's technically a water gate." Dustin said, we all looked at him then away "Watergate." Max then gives me the binoculars then I look through them again, I then give them to Dustin, we hear radios and turn

"Shit." I whisper

"Down by the water!" I hear a cop say

"Shit. Down!" Lucas whispered to us, we all kneeled down

"At the shoreline." A different cop says, then Robin's voice comes through on the walkie talkie we all look at Dustin and he turns it off

"Cops." I said

"We can't let 'em find Eddie." Lucas whispered

"Stay with me." Max said "Hey, officers! Over here I found the killer! This way!" We all stood up and ran, we kept running until Dustin fell over

"Dustin, shit." Lucas said slipping, we all got caught and taken back the the Wheelers.

We were all being questioned at the same time

"What exactly we're you all doing at the lake?" The chief asked

"We were...we were just going for a walk" Max lied

"A walk? At 9:00pm?" Callahan asked us

"To the lake. We were gonna take a little swim. Little night swim." Dustin said with a squeaky voice

"Dusty. Someone was just murdered there." Mrs Henderson said

"Yeah, we...we didn't realise that until we got there." Dustin told his mother

"That's why we didn't swim." I said

"And Nancy, was she with you at this night swim?" Mrs Wheeler asked

"Yes." Dustin said

"No." I said

"We're not sure." Lucas said

"She was there." Dustin said "Then she left. It's all a little confusing"

"That when you guys came." I said

"Right. Then they dared me to say what I said." Max said

"Oh, yeah." Lucas chuckled nervously

"About the killer." Max finished her sentence

"You're lucky you didn't get shot." Mr Wheeler said to us

"Have you had any contact with Eddie?" Chief Powell asked us

"That psycho...freak killer?" Dustin asked "God, no. Nope. Absolutely not."

"We. We haven't heard from him." Max said

"We barely know the guy." Lucas said

"Oh, that's a bunch of bull." Erica stepped up

"Erica." Mr and Mrs Sinclair spoke to Erica

"I mean, you realise they're lying. The whole couch is in fire." Erica said

"Erica." Her parents spoke in union

"Just the facts." Erica said

"Are you lying to these policemen, Dusty?" Mrs Henderson asked her son

"No." Dustin said high-pitched

"Lying to cops is a crime, son." Mr Sinclair said

"I'm not lying." Lucas defended

"The fire is consuming us." Erica said

"Threaten them with a little jail time. Maybe that'll loosen their lips." Mr Wheeler said

"Okay-" Dustin said before getting cut off by Mrs Sinclair

"You wanna send our kids to jail?" Mrs Sinclair asked

"We need to take this seriously." Mr Wheeler muttered

"He didn't mean it like that." Mrs Wheeler defended, everyone started arguing over others

"Shut up!" Chief Powell yelled standing up "We're going to try a more civilised approach. One at a time. You first." He said pointing at me

"Wait! What? Why me?" I ask

"Follow me." Powell said

"I'm not even in Hellfire." I spoke before standing up

"Do I need to cuff you?" Officer Callahan asked me "Up. Chop-chop. Let's go." I rolled my eyes and stood up and went into a room with the two police officers

"So..." Powell started trying to think of my name

"Rory." I said annoyed I had to go first

"So, Rory. Why were you down by the lake, at 9:00pm?"

"We told you. We went for a walk, we were going to swim then we realised that someone had been murdered there, so we didn't swim, then you guys came." I said leaning back in my seat

"Okay, what about Nancy Wheeler? Was she with you?"

"She was. Then she left, that's why I said no."

"And Eddie, have you had contact with him?"

"No."

"Your 100% sure?"

"Yes! I haven't had contact with him, I don't talk to him whatsoever. I don't really speak to anyone."

"Why, don't you really speak to people, Rory?" Callahan asked

"Why does it matter? This has nothing to do with this situation." I snapped

"Sorry." Callahan muttered

"So, you've had no contact with Eddie. What about Chrissy Cunningham? Did you speak to her before she got murdered?" Powell asked me

"No. I don't speak to her, well, I didn't speak to her, we weren't friends." I said "Like, we never spoke."

"Okay. Where were you the night Chrissy got murdered?"

"Dustin's."

"You were at Dustin's house?" Callahan asked "Why?"

"Why are you asking personal questions? But if you must know, I stayed the night, I don't get why that concern's you." I reply rolling my eyes at the officers curiosity "But I thought you had a suspect? For the murders."

"We do. We just have to make sure." Powell said

"Do I look like I would murder someone?" I asked

"You don't look it, but you never know." Callahan muttered

"I'm not the murder. I don't know who is, I'm being honest." I responded

"We believe your not the murder, Rory, don't worry." Powell reassured "I think we're done here."

I smile slightly and stand up and got taken out of the room by the two officers, they started talking to the adults, I put my headphones and click play, I saw Dustin, he motioned for me to come over, I looked back at the adults then back at Dustin and quickly moved away from the adults, I follow Dustin upstairs, then we climb out of the window and grab our bikes and Erica had something sharp in her hand, we ran off the drive as Erica stabbed one of the tires on the cop car, Callahan was shouting for us to get back but we just rode on our bikes away, we heard the parents run out and shout for us, but we rode to Eddie's trailer.
