"Are you serious?" He asks.
She nods.
"As a heart attack" she responds.
A slow grin forms on his face.
"You're telling me. That if I beat you in a fight... you'll let me leave?" He asks.
She nods, giving him a warm smile.
"I won't take it easy...
"Outside of work, you can call me Nova" she tells me.
I nod, trying not to show her that I'm happy about calling her by her first name finally.
It's about damn time.
She takes off her jacket and shoes, and I watch as she does.
I catch sight of her outfit.

She looks good.
She always does.
I take her into my front room and I offer her a drink, and she asks for water.
I go and get it and give it to her.
When I get back, she's sitting down at my coffee table with the sheets I left there, looking at them.
She looks curious to see what I'm into.
I try and fail to gauge her opinion through her expression.
She just looks curious.
I hand her the glass of water and she thanks me, setting it down next to her.
She continues looking at them and after what feels like forever, she turns to me, patting the floor beside her.
I sit with her and she shows me everything I've ticked off and reminds me what it means.
I listen attentively, so I know what I'm getting into.
Then she reads out some of the ones I don't know much about.
She asks me how I feel about each of them and when I tell her then she ticks off and crosses them out accordingly.
She's patient.
"How do you feel about being restrained?" She asks.
My pulse speeds up.
"In what way?" I ask.
She faces me fully to talk.
"Ropes, handcuffs, chains, belts. These are all examples of things to restrain you with. Being restrained with these things means you've given me full control." She tells me.
I think about it.
Would I like her to do that to me?
"Okay let's tick it off" I say.
She gives me a slight grin.
"You sure you can handle that?" She asks me.
I nod.
"What about the rest of these? Choking, food play, sensory deprivation and heat play?" Did you not understand these, or are you just not sure?" She asks, looking at me.
"Can you explain the last two?" I ask.
She nods.
"Sensory deprivation is me, taking away one or more of your five senses, so that you have to rely solely on everything else." She explains.
I see!
She leans towards me, holding out her hand and putting them over my eyes.
I gulp slightly.
She smells good.
"So if I was to blindfold you..." she says, softly making me very aware of her voice.
I hear her shifting around and I feel her get closer to me.
I feel my breathing speed up slightly as her soft breaths fall on my neck.
"You'd have to rely on your ears. And your sense of touch" she says, almost whispering into my ear.
I nod.
"D'you understand?" She asks.
I nod again.
"Yes Lux" I respond.
"What did I say about what to call me?" She reminds me.
"I'm sorry... Nova" I say.
"Good" she responds.
She lets go of my face and sits back on the floor, ready to explain the next thing.
I miss her touch already.
"Heat play, is when I use items and substances to stimulate your body's neuroreceptors and heighten your sense of touch." She explains.
"Can it tie into food play?" I ask curiously.
She chuckles just thinking about it.
"It absolutely can" she responds.
I nod.
"Okay let's tick them off. Choking too" I say.
She looks surprised when I throw in choking.
But she ticks them off.
She clears her throat, shaking off the surprise.
"How do you feel about getting spanked?" She asks.
I sit up.
That's a good question.
"Honestly, I- well. I don't know" I respond truthfully.
She puts the paper down.
"Well with your consent... would you like to try it?" She asks, looking directly into my face.
I look at her.
Wait.
"Do you mean here and now?" I ask.
She nods.
"Here and now. If you'd like... I can show you right now." She says.
My breath catches.
"Let me spank you, Sora"
