Chapter Two: Part 3

Childe awoke to an unfamiliar scent. When he opened his eyes again it was late at night and he was met with Baizu. Childe looked up at him. He felt to unmotivated to move. That and he was still waking up. "Good Morning young omega. Well I guess it isn't morning isn't it?" He said with a chuckle. Childe's face still held a tired but serious look. "Okay, well something went wrong in your heat so I'll have to move you too the pharmacy okay?" He asked. Childe began to whimper at the thought of leaving his nest. "I know I know, you want to stay in your nest. But I have to make sure everything is going okay." He said. Childe nodded and began to sit up his body feeling very sore.
Zhongli and Xiao walked through the bedroom door. "Is he okay Baizu?" Zhongli asked. "I have no idea what's wrong so I'm going to move him to the pharmacy so I can look more deeper." He answer. Just hearing Zhongli's voice sounded like nails on a chalk board. He couldn't stand it. Zhongli stepped closer to Childe causing him to start growling. Zhongli raised an eyebrow at the omega. "Its okay I have a wheelchair here so I can wheel him to the pharmacy. We dont want to cause more stress for him." Baizu said. Childe stopped growling when Baizu touched his shoulder. "I hope you don't mind me helping you into the wheelchair. I'm sorry I'm in your nest." Baizu said sitting Childe down in the chair. "Its okay you're trying to see what's wrong with me though I already know the answer." Childe said with anger in his voice. Baizu smiled and wheeled him passed the two men standing in the doorway.

Childe woke up in the hospital bed. He has been in and out since he got here. Scanning, even more scannings and physicals left and right. It seems after three hours of this they have gotten the answer. "Okay well I'll be back with your mate." He heard a voice say. Childe looked up to see Baizu walking through the door. "Good Afternoon sunshine you've been out for quite a while." Baizu said sitting in the chair next to his bed. "Well we found out what's wrong. You're body was trying to fight against your heat which would have put too much strain on your body." He said. Childe scuffed.
"So am I an omega or an alpha? Did my alpha side win?" He asked. Baizu sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "No, I had to make a series injection to stop your body from fighting against it that and I had to remove some parts of your brain." He said. Childe's hand shot up to the bandages on his head. "I didn't consent to that!" He yelled angrily. Baizu sighed again. "Childe first of all there was no alpha side. You're body was trying to convince it self it was still alpha while your womb and ovaries were already fully developed. Second Morax is in charge of your medical decisions while you're unconscious." He argued. Just hearing that name made Childe's blood boil. Childe started picking up things and throwing them at the doctor. "None of you know how stressed I am right now. These past few days maybe even weeks its Morax this Zhongli that. That man can just kick the bucket already. I make MY medical decisions!" He yelled
The doctor tried to reason with the feral omega but no words were getting through to him. Baizu called for Zhongli who just knew it was Childe causing such trouble. Childe was crying, yelling and screaming as random item were being thrown across the room. Zhongli felt anger burn in his veins at the mess that was scattered across the room. He walked in and dodged the objects being thrown he grabbed the omega by the wrists and pushed Childe into his chest. Forcing Childe to intake his scent directly from his scent glands. Childe sobbed into Zhongli's neck. "I lost it all! I lost my family, my home, my job and even my identity. I lost it all!" He cried. Zhongli held him close hushing him. Childe wrapped his arms around the alpha tightly and cried into him. Zhongli picked him up and decided to take Childe straight home. Childe needed to be in his nest. Child's heat was delayed long enough for him to recover a little bit from the rejection.
He paid Baizu extra for the damages and carried Childe to the Inn. Childe still crying and carrying on. Half way there he had tired himself out and fallen asleep in Zhongli's arms. Zhongli planted a few kisses on Childe's cheek and forehead. He knew this omega needed therapy and support that he couldn't give. "My lord." Xiao said walking next to him. "How is your omega?" He asked. Zhongli sighed. "Physically he's doing okay. His body rejected the heat, Baizu helped with that." He answered. "Xiao, can you fetch me Ganyu by tonight? there's something I would like to ask of her. I need to get Childe home so he can nest again." He continued. Xiao nodded. "I had your room stocked with extra blankets and pillows." Zhongli smiled. "Thank you Xiao but I have something to ask of you too." Zhongli requested. Xiao nodded. "Anything." He answered. "Xiao, when Childe is out and about I  want Ganyu and you to watch who he is around. His mind state is very fragile right now. If he gets along with the wrong crowd it will result in a relapse and cause his death." He said. Xiao agreed to watch over him and even make sure he was eating healthy since he already lost so much weight.

Ganyu rushed towards the Inn. "Rex Lapis! I'm here!" She said bursting through the door. She noticed a small nest underneath the bed and orange hair poking out of it. "Come with me outside please." He requested. She nodded and followed him. He asked her to make a support group for Childe and make sure that its exclusively omegas. So that Childe could get along with his kind to avoid relapsing.
Ganyu agreed and made a plan with him and even already had candidates for this support group. She even offered to give him a full list of everyone helping him and he can determine who all would be good for his omega. Zhongli knew he went to the right person for this when he recognized a few names on the paper. "Thank you for your hard work Ganyu. Also pick places for these meeting I would personally prefer somewhere under Cloud Retainers watch so that if anything happens its under control. He can't keep disrupting the peace in Liyue."
