Chapter Two Part 5

Ajax awoke to Zhongli shaking him awake. He poked his head out from underneath the blankets and glared at Zhongli. "What?" He asked. Zhongli placed a tray of breakfast in front of him. He sat up and took the pair of chop sticks. He prayed a little bit before taking a bite. As he ate Zhongli watched him carefully. "Li?" He asked. Zhongli hummed in question. "Yes my love?" He answered. "Why didn't you mark or knot me?" Ajax asked. Zhongli sighed. "One of the liyuian practices is mating your lover when they're completely sober. As for knotting, I didn't want you to get pregnant first time we slept together." He admitted. Ajax nodded sadly. Zhongli cupped his face and gave him a kiss. "Next time we sleep together, I'll fill you up okay?" Zhongli spoke lovingly.
Ajax smiled and nodded. "I have work to do today. Take it easy." Zhongli requested. Zhongli gave another kiss on his lips before standing up and heading towards the door. Ajax finished his breakfast and took the dirty dishes and trays downstairs. That's when he saw Xiao eating almond tofu by himself. Ajax walked over and hugged the other male. Xiao looked up to see Ajax. "Good Morning!" He greeted. Xiao nodded "Good Morning." He said back.
Ajax snuggled into Xiao causing him to look up at him in slight annoyance. "Ajax...you're scenting me." He said. Ajax nodded. "Yeah I know!" He answered. "Here in Liyue, you only scent family, your mate and your pups." He explained. Ajax looked down. "To me you are my pup." He mumbled. Xiao let out a sigh. "Ajax, understand I'm hundreds of years old. I am.not a pup much less yours." He stated. Ajax teared up and nodded. "I'm sorry." He choked out.
Ajax walked back upstairs and crawled into his nest. Ajax sobbed lightly. He couldn't help but to feel as if he lost his pup. The thought made him cry even more. He wondered if the reason Xiao rejected him was because he was a horrible mother. Ajax laid there for hours the same feeling of despair weighed on him heavy. He decided to move his nest into the bathtub. He carefully crafted it but his brain was on auto pilot. When he was finished he crawled into his newly made nest and eventually fell asleep.

When Zhongli came back to the inn guests were giving him dirty looks. "What did Ajax do this time?" He wondered. As he made it to his room he noticed an awful stench. "Ajax?" He questioned when he opened the door. He noticed that the nest wasn't on the bed or under it but the smell was coming from the bathroom. When he walked in he saw Baizhu rubbing Ajax's back. Zhongli looked at him in question. "What happened?" He asked. "Well this stench if most common in omegas who recently miscarry. So I was summoned." Baizhu explained. Zhongli sighed. "He must've thought Adeptus Xiao as his pup." He commented. Ajax woke up to the doctor and Zhongli chatting.
"Good Morning Ajax." Zhongli greeted before crouching down. "Im sorry about Xiao. He's only had me for the longest time. Adeptus Xiao just needs time. He's hardly ever been scented. He doesn't know what its like to have a mother." He explained.
Ajax nodded as the awful stench began to clear up. He curled back up in his nest and fell asleep. "I'll watch him." Zhongli sat down next to the tub reaching over to cup Ajax's head in his hand. Baizhu looked over at Zhongli. He hummed before standing up. "If he starts to lack in bathing or eating please get his pup." He requested. Zhongli nodded "Thank you Doctor Baizhu." He spoke softly.

Zhongli was making tea when he felt a strong pulse going through his body. He gripped the counter hard letting out a few growls. He felt arms wrap around him as a familiar scent hint him. Ajax stood behind him and looked up into his golden eyes. "Li? You okay? You smell amazing!" He explained rubbing his head against the taller mans back.
"Ajax your nest is still.in the bathroom right?" Zhongli asked wiping the drool from his mouth. Ajax looked at his alpha confused. "Yes, I haven't had the chance to move it yet. Why?" He questioned. Zhongli sighed in relief. "Go into the bathroom and lock the door. No matter how much I beg don't let me in." He explained. Ajax huffed and shook his head. "I'm moving my nest in our bed. You take a few minutes to yourself. I'm no longer in heat so you can't use the whole not clear head excuse. I'll come get you when its done."
Zhongli sighed frustrated he didn't want to.mark. Ajax yet but the younger man wouldn't listen to him. Zhongli watched the orange haired omega move quickly but efficiently to reconstruct his nest. Zhongli knew if he stayed he'd lose control. Zhongli stumbled into the next room and slammed the door shut and locked it. He slammed himself against the farthest wall.
Zhongli felt his stomach ache and twist. "Zhongli?" He heard Ajax's faint voice call out for him. "Li?" He questioned worry heavy in his shaking voice. Ajax followed his alphas scent to a locked door. Ajax tried to open the door. "Zhongli? Open the door please! The nest is ready for us. I added more pillows from the closet so its extra cozy...just in case." He mumbled. Zhongli let out another hungry growl. "Listen to me Ajax. You're not ready. Please leave. I'm begging you." He begged. "Are you not ready to mate Li?" Ajax asked. Zhongli shook his head starring at the roof. "Its not the Ajax. I want you to be my mate. You're not in the right head space right now." He explained. Ajax huffed. "I am ready Li. I'm just waiting on you! I submitted to you! Zhongli stop making shitty excuses. You want to be my mate and I want to be yours. The only one stopping you is yourself." Ajax spat. Zhongli let out an angry growl. "Get out Ajax!" Zhongli snapped.
There was a moment of silence before Zhongli heard sobs from the other side of the door. "Fine! You lied to me Mr. Zhongli! You never wanted me as your mate. You wanted me to be your slut. You wanted to use my body until you found someone more suitable. Fine by me! I'll find me an alpha who will love me. Who will keep me well bread. who will be an actual alpha!" Ajax yelled in anger. Ajax got up from the floor and stormed off.
Something in Zhongli snapped. Before even the two knew Zhongli's sharp dragon like teeth were buried deep into Ajax's neck gland. Ajax gasped for air holding onto his alphas arms. Tears rolled down his face as he felt his heart stop. When Zhongli finally got a hold of himself he retracted his teeth starring at the bite mark he left of Ajax. Ajax let out a few sobs holding the back of his neck gently.
"See? I told you! You're not ready yet!" Zhongli yelled. Ajax turned to him. "You stupid alpha. I'm not crying out of fear or sadness. I'm crying out of happiness!" He admitted. Zhongli sighed in relief before.placing a kiss on Ajax's lips. Zhongli pushed Ajax against the floor melting into him.
When Zhongli pulled away he picked the other.man up and carried him to their nest. Where they would be spending the next five days.

Zhongli and Ajax laid tangled together in their nest. Ajax laying his head on Zhonglis chest. Ajax stared at Zhonglis dragon features. Zhongli had to make a rule to stop Ajax from touching his scales but eventually he just gave up. Ajax would leave to make Zhongli food get and get him tea. Zhongli would always give a face of disappointment when he received the tea. "You should bring be wine next time." He would say. Ajax would pout and only continue bringing him tea. Zhongli complained so much that Ajax brought him tap water.
But that night while Ajax was asleep Zhongli got himself a few glasses of his favorite wine. He would fill them to the brim smelling the rich flavor before taking large sips. The wine flooding into his system and clouding his judgement a little bit.
Ajax felt Zhongli climb back into the nest and pulling him closer. Ajax was quick to notice the faint wine scent on his mate. Ajax fluttered awake and looked up at his mate. "Morning Li." He mumbled before placing a kiss on his lips.
Ajax was throwing his head back letting out loud moans. "Li! You're going to hard! Yes~!" He moaned. Zhongli let out a seductive growl. "You're mine Ajax. Even if you run away. You won't find anyone who will satisfy you the way I do."
Ajax wrapped his arms around Zhongli neck moaning loudly as Zhongli's tip hit the opening of his womb. Ajax's eyes rolled at the back of his head. "Breed me!~ Breed me good!" He begged. Zhongli left multiple kisses on the young mans neck. Ajax felt his body tremble and pulse as time went on. He could feel the knot form and he let out a needing whimper. Zhongli responded to this by leaning closer and picking up the pace.
Ajax felt a hot liquid fill his womb as Zhongli let out a tired growl. Ajax gasped and fell back into the soft sheets. Zhongli laid before him being careful of the knot. Zhongli could hear his new mate purr in delight. Ajax fell asleep again thinking of the pups he was sure he would be pregnant with soon.
