"Where am I?!" I thrashed around.

"Ma'am, calm down, everything's ok," a female nurse calmed me down.

"Where's Johnny?" I asked.

"In the other room, he's been stressed."

"Stressed? Why?"

"Because you died."

"What? I'm dead?"

"No, we brought you back in time."

"I need to see Johnny," I said, sitting up. "Where's my mom and my brother?"

"They're in the waiting room."

"Can I see them?"

"Sure, but one at a time."

"I wanna see Johnny first."

"Ok," the nurse walked out.

I scanned my surroundings, metal cuffs holding my arms and legs to the bed, a thin teal blanket, cheap thin pillows, pictures of cats, toys for kids to calm down, magazines on the nightstand, and a tray of food. How long have I stayed here? There was no window. Perfect place to go mad.

"Y/n?" Johnny's voice drew my attention.

"Johnny," I sighed in relief.

"You're stupid, I hope you know that," Johnny told me, he looked pitiful.

"Yes..."

"You died."

"Yes..."

"God! You're so stupid."

I looked down.

"But, I love you," Johnny's voice made me look up at him. Was he mad at me?

"I love you, too."

"You suffered from a concussion, a broken rib, and broken wrist."

"Why is it always the same injury?"

"I got a concussion. Bad one."

"I'm sorry, Johnny, I just didn't want her to get beaten anymore."

"It's ok."

There was an uncomfortable silence.

"Do you want your mom?"

"Yeah... please?" I watched as Johnny left, my mom came in moments later.

"Oh, Honey," my mom was clearly crying when she hugged me.

"Hi, Mom."

"You remember me?"

"Of course."

"You died. Got a concussion."

"Yeah, I know," I nodded.

"You were in a coma for a week, we never thought that you'd come back."

Coma?!

"What?! I was in a coma?" I asked, clearly terrified.

"Yeah, they didn't tell you?"

My jaw was dropped, I didn't know what to say. I shook my head.

"The man was put into jail. Johnny never wanted to leave your side," my mom informed me, "he cried almost every night just at the thought of losing you." I felt so bad.

"Mom, can you get me out of these?" I asked, referring to the restraints.

"I'll go ask the nurse," she replied. I nodded. I just wanted to walk around. I remembered that I was engaged to Johnny so I quickly looked at my hand to see if it was a dream or real.
