A/N: I'm really trying to update more. I just don't have a lot of time since I'm so busy. This chapter is a little different.

<Unknown POV>

Those blasted Anomalys. I must destroy them. They poison our world. Especially Aspen. She doesn't know how powerful her Gift will be. Once she discovers who she is and who I am, she will stop at nothing to destroy our organization. I walk down the corridor to the laboratory. It was filled with a rancid smell.

"Dr. Anderson! Some of the concoction leaked onto the floor and burned the carpet as you can see," Dr. Jones said pointing to the burning carpet.

"Okay well then what are you waiting for! Clean it up!" I barked at Dr. Jones, my most trusted lab partner. He nodded and scurried off to find a mop. Another one of my workers, Dr. Garfield told me that there were patients waiting for me on the main floor. I went up the hidden staircase in the broom closet leading up to another broom closet in a real doctor's office. I'm disguised as a pediatrician, but when I'm not with a patient, I devote all my time underground in the lab.

My organization is called EOPA- Elimination of Planetary Anomalys, but as cover it's called Elimination of Pediatric Ailments, one of the best pediatric clinics in Oregon. I met with five patients in a row when I headed back to the lab. We were almost finished with the elixir that would prevent Anomalys from receiving their Gift. To perfect it, all we need is a sample of Anomaly blood. Preferably Aspen Grace's. Then the elixir would be even stronger that way.

<Aspen's POV>

Emma and I left our room ready to go to our first class. Emma used the map that she found in our room. Professor Nunes' class is on the thirteenth floor. When we entered the elevator, Suzanne was already in there clearly going to Gift Control as well. I flashed her a smirk and she just rolled her eyes.

We exited the elevator and headed to the classroom. When we entered, again we were the first ones there, besides Suzanne and Professor Nunes of course. Emma and I sat at the two desks in the front while Suzanne went to the farthest desk back.

"Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Gift Control. If you don't already know, I'm Professor Nunes. Now I'm going to list those of you who have discovered your Gifts. Suzanne Garfield with animal control, Clarissa Myers with picture communication, Jack Harris with underwater breath, and lastly Rick Norris with animal communication." Professor Nunes said. I noticed that Rick had the same Gift as Hunter. I guess some Celestials have the same Gift.

"Some of you haven't received your Gifts yet and that's perfectly normal."

I looked around the room and saw that the only people without a Gift were me, Emma, and two other girls who I don't know. I think they're twins.

"Ms.Grace. Ms. Grace!" My head swiveled forward. "Are you paying attention Aspen?"Professor Nunes asked. I nodded briskly. "Well if you had listened, you would have taken out your textbook like the rest of your classmates." I blushed and fetched my textbook. The rest if class went by very slowly. All we did was learn that our Gift was tied to our emotions and that we must learn how not to trigger our Gift if we lose our temper. Blah. Blah. Blah.

The rest of the day dragged on. We had Celestial History, and then regular studies such as math and grammar. Our last class of the day was Hippal Training with Mr.Elmer, the man who took our tickets when we boarded the Hippoplum Metro. Hippal Training is the only class Emma and I have with Will and Hunter.

"What's up dudes!" he exclaimed. Everyone chuckled. "Now I know what you're thinking. There's no Hippal this year, but it doesn't mean there won't be next year, and I bet most of you will try out for the team. But today we're only going to cover the basics." For the rest of class, Mr.Elmer showed us the correct way to mount a hippo. Hunter was surprisingly really good at it. I on the other hand had to try it fifteen times before I could get it right.

By the end of the day, Emma and I were very exhausted. We went out to the gardens and did homework. Will and Hunter joined us. Suzanne and her sidekick, Clarissa were on the other side of the garden and they shot us dirty looks every few minutes. Not like I even cared. Emma and the others went to grab dinner but I wasn't hungry so they went without me.

As I headed back to my room, I saw a flash of red and fell to the ground. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?!" I looked up and it was Lynn. She recognized me too.

"Oh hey Aspen. You all right?" she asked.

"I'm fine," I replied. "I've been meaning to ask you. What happened between you and your dad?" At this question, the smile quickly faded from her face. I could tell it was personal, but my curiosity got the best of me.

"Well. You are lucky to have parents to have parents who love you and want the best for you. Well my dad.... the minute he saw what I was he despised me. Was ashamed of me. Never even talked to me. My mom loved me for who I was. But when I was twelve, my mom got leukemia and died. It was so hard on me. I had never felt so alone. The second my dad heard about Hippoplum, we were both counting down the days until I left. When I came here, I felt wanted and free to be who I am without being ashamed or put down by anybody. I am proud to be a Celestial."

When she finished talking she had a sad look on her face. I hugged her. The security guard was so kind to me though. I don't understand why he let me go. We talked a little while longer. I told her about my Hippal Training and she laughed.

"Ms. Jones! That's where you've been! You have detention with me remember. Eating cake in the cafeteria at one o'clock in the morning. Does that ring a bell?" Professor Nunes exclaimed. I stifled a giggle. Lynn sighed and waved goodbye to me as she followed Professor Nunes to go fulfill her punishment.

A/N: Well I hope this was a satisfying chapter. To be honest it was more of a filler. Who do you think was the unknown POV? Comment and vote!
