I sit in my room while Vinnie streams in his. I film a tiktok then get a knock on my door.
I walk over and open it up.
"Hey Jacob."
"What the hell Syd!"
"What?"
"Why the hell would you sabotage my date!?"
"I didn't! Besides she wasn't even into you! She was trying to get to Vinnie through you!"
"You think I don't know that!? She looked like you! I was using her because she looks like you!"
"Why are you so in love with me!? I'm not even that special Jacob!"
"You don't understand Sydney. You've always been special to me. I don't know why. Ever since freshman year."
"But why! You and Vinnie find me so fucking special! Any fucking girl on this planet could be better than me!"
"Sydney. Nobody is better than you."
Jacob pulls me in by my waist. He kisses me and I don't pull away. All of a sudden Vinnie opens the door.
"Hey Syd, did you- oh.."
"No- Vin it's not what it looks like."
"Mhm.. sure." Vinnie closes the door.
"No.. No.. Vinnie! Jacob get out!"
"Syd I didn't-"
"GET OUT! GET THE FUCK OUT!"
Jacob walks out and goes into his room.
I run across the hall and knock on Vinnie's door.
"Vinnie.. please.. can I come in?"
"Yeah, just close the door."
I walk in and see Vinnie looking out the window.
