Chapter 3

"How am I the reason for our breakup!?"

Suddenly everyone fills the room due to Jacob and I fighting.

"Your the one who was cheating on me!"

"Me? Cheat? Who did I supposedly cheat on you with?"

"Andrew Brady. Everybody told me that."

"And why would little quiet sophomore Sydney even want to talk to someone like Andrew? Jacob. I never cheated on you."

"Now that I think about it.."

"Exactly! Jacob I was too in love with you to even THINK about cheating on you. Let's be honest, we'd probably still be together right now if it wasn't for you!"

I walk out the room and scoff. I start walking up to my room and Mia, Tab and Paige follow behind.

I grab my airpods and start listening to a mix of Ashe,Niall Horan and Harry Styles.

"Syd.. can we come in?"

"Sure.."

I pause the music as the girls walk in.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah its just everything that I felt back 4 years ago is y'know coming back.."

Mia hugs me. "I'm so sorry Sydney."

"It's not your fault."

Suddenly there is a knock on the door.

"Hey Syd.. can I come in?"

"I guess."

Jacob opens the door.

Tabitha looks at me. "We'll be back."

I nod and Jacob comes in.

"Sydney.. I'm really sorry."

"I appreciate that, but that can't fix the my feelings."

He sits down next to me.

"Look, your right. We probably would still be together. I think we should start over if that's okay with you."

- downstairs with everyone -

"How's Sydney?"

"She's okay. How about Jacob?"

"Actually, he isn't okay. Not at all."

Paige and Tabitha look at each other.

"We have a plan actually."

- Back upstairs -

I look at him. "Yeah. I'd like that."

Jacob smiles and goes to leave but I stop him.

"Wait Jacob. Can you stay actually?"

He looks at me and nods. He comes and sits next to me. For some reason, I put my head on his chest. Jacob slips his arm around my waist.
