Trees and Kisses

Nico POV:

(A/N get ready for fluff and a bit of sadness)

I kept staring into Will's eyes and the next thing I knew I kissed him.

And he kissed back.

When we broke apart we were both blushing so much that someone might have thought we were human fire trucks.

"Will we nee- oh you're being gay, we'll tell your boyfriend you'll see him later because we need you inside," Kayla said from the back door

Will groaned and I laughed

Will and I both said that we aren't dating but it killed me to say that because I wanted to kiss him again so badly

"Yeah sure and I'm not going to the Olympics for archery," She said sarcastically "Come on William, Mom needs you, and not in 20 years now"

"Jeez ok ok fine I'm coming," Will said putting his hands up in surrender

He turned to face me "I'll be right back ok Neeks?"

"Ok," I say looking into his eyes

Once Will left I was alone with my thoughts.

While Will was inside I climbed into a tree that was really tall

I sat on a small branch leaning against its delicate but strong trunk and thought about what happened

I kissed him. I actually kissed him!! And he kissed back!!

I heard the back door open then close again and I thought it was Will but I didn't know until he spoke.

"Neeks?" He called and started looking around

I decided to stay quiet to see how long it would take him to look in the tree

I didn't talk for 30 minutes until he gave up and sat at the bottom of the tree

"Gods I hope he's ok," Will said sounding really worried

All of a sudden I felt really bad and decided to tell him where I was

"Will, I'm in the tree. I was trying to see how long it would take you to actually look in the tree." I said while smiling

His head looked up so fast he forgot there was a tree behind it and banged his head

"Ow" he said rubbing his head "Wait how in the frick frack flapjack Kentucky fried chicken did you get up there?!"

I laughed "I climbed, have you never done that before?!"

"I- um uh- No...?"

I shook my head "I'll come down and we can talk when I'm not in a tree"

He laughed

"I can also check your head to make sure it's not bleeding"

Will nodded

I got up off the branch I was on and stepped on one that was apparently unstable and it started to break

"Is it supposed to sound like that?!" Will asked with terror present in the question

I didn't answer but got off that branch onto a more sturdy one

Will looked like he was about to have a heart attack when I finally got down

"How- um- are you ok?!" He practically screamed

"Yes calm down I'm fine. Let me see your head" I replied

"Ok" he tilted his head forward so I could see

"It doesn't look like there's any blood"

"I knew that much Dr. Di Angelo but is there a bruise?"

I laughed "Nope doesn't look like it"

Just then the entire party came outside.
