"We answered your questions, so it's now time to hold up your end of our little deal," 88booklover_ says.
I pale a little of the thought of being stuck in a closet with her sorta crush.
"Yeah, don't think you've escaped," Puppydog123567 waggled her finger at me.
I manage a shaky smile.
Wylie escorts me into the closet. "After you, mi'lady,"
Darn it, I think. Why does he have to be so charming?
After Wylie shuts the closet door, the room feels like it gets smaller.
"Linh, I have something I've wanted to tell you for a long time."
Wylie steps closer.
I try to step back, but the small room prevents me.
He steps closer. Him and his lips.
He steps even closer.
His body is so close. Too close.
His lips graze mine, but I push him away.
"No, no, no, no." I mumble. "I can't."
Wylie gets even closer. "Why?"
"STOP!" I scream, unintentionally drenching him in water.
"Wylie, Linh, you can come out now!" KotlcHPHamilton yells.
I run out.
"Sooo," Puppydog123567 says teasingly. "What happened in the closet?"
I look everywhere but Wylie. I can only assume he's doing the same.
"It's okay. You don't have to tell us." Sophie says. I smile gratefully.
"Sooo, while you and Wylie were having your smoochfest, Dexy completed his dare," Keefe interjects.
We wait. "Drumroll, please,"
Dex presents a bottle of liquid.
He passes it around and tells everybody to take a swig.
When everyone's finished, he announces: "That was the first-ever Truth Elixir. It forces someone to tell their true emotions about something."
Everyone starts to gag, to try to get it out of their systems.
"Too late!" Keefe cackled.
Everyone could only wait until the Truth Elixir's effects wore off.
"Who's turn is it?" I ask.
"I'll go," Wylie says steely. Oh no, I think.
"Linh," Wylie says. "Truth or Dare,"
"Ummm, Truth." I say, shivering.
"Why don't you tell everyone what happened in the closet?"
"Ummm," I can't do this. I can't, I can't, I can't.
"Sophie, can you do one of your telepath-y tricks?" I ask desperately.
"Okay," Sophie says, then reaches for my temples.

The room is pin-drop silent. "Linh, are you okay?" Marella asks.

"I'm fine. Anyways, Truth or Dare, Biana?" I say to change the topic.
"Dare,"
"I dare you to..." I lean in closer and whisper, "To kiss Tam on the lips, and for every question he asks, you have to kiss him again."
Biana turns beet red. "Truth! Truth! I choose Truth!"
"Too late," I smile.
