The day of the Bands Y/N's POV Me and Silver were in the backstage getting ready. We both got a piece of paper with all the bands lined up. I started to read through the paper to see where we were placed. '***** & *****...' '******&*****' I then saw my name and Silvers "Ah! Found it- huh?!" As I took a look to see who came right before us, Shadow & Scourge?! I couldn't help but giggle a bit. 'Shadow is SINGING? Ha! This will be funny.'
A little bit later Both of us were watching each bands sing and play instruments, some of them were good, some were not. "Hey, are you sure you want to sing in front of a whole crowd? Can you do this? If not I completely understand." Silver said placing his hand over mine and staring into my eyes all warm. I looked back at him, "as long as you and the others are cheering me on, I don't think there will be anything in the way." I answered, and couldn't help but smile back at silvers smile.
"Now we welcome, SHADOW AND SCOURGE TO THE STAGE!"
The speakers said and we both took a peek at both of them on the stage. Shadow really IS going to sing!
Shadows POV I looked at the crowd and took a deep breath. 'Why did I agree to do this. Wait, is y/n watching? Why am I even asking myself that?! Ugh let's just get this over with.' I thought to myself and took the microphone.
I suddenly heard the song turn on and immediately felt the music and beat flowing inside of me.

Y/N's POV Wow... I didn't know he had this type of voice. It's actually beautiful. I cant believe my childhood friend can have this type of talent. "Bet we will beat him." Said silver giving me a fierce look and smiling. I laughed a bit and just carried on watching while feeling a little bit of butterflies in my stomach.
'What'sthis feeling.. I cant be falling in love, right?' As I thought of this I couldn't help but blush.
Then suddenly, everyone started clapping after the song ended right a few seconds ago. Shadow and scourge got off the stage to the backstage and walked past us. I felt shadows glare on me, but it wasn't a bad one. It was giving a 'good luck' glare just without words.
"Now let's welcome, silver and Y/N to the stage!"
The speaker said as we got on stage. I looked at the crowd and immediately felt terrified. 'What if my voice isn't that good? What if I get a voicecrack in the middle of the song? What if I mess up?!' "Hey, take it easy. It's completely fine, look." Silver comforted pointing at the gang a bit. I looked over and saw all of them cheering, and it made me soften up. "Thanks silver." Silver went to his instrument and sat down. The song suddenly started and I just took a deep breath and went to my safe place, music.
(This is the song Y/n is singing.) As I sang, I just completely forgot the sack of people were even there. I just focused on myself, and WAS myself. I felt myself flowing with the music and just went with it as I thought of shadow while feeling the music inside of my body. Just then as the song was about to end, I floated a bit and suddenly felt a dress on me and watched as my hair and eyes started to glow while singing.

Just then as the song ended, I felt my feet touch the ground again and my eyes stopped glowing and my hair too, but my dress kept shining like the sun. As I lifted my head to look at the crowd to see what reaction they have, but they were as speechless as I was yesterday. I looked around more and spotted shadow between the crowd with sparkling eyes and speechless as well.
Suddenly, the crowd started to clap like crazy, and I just saw shadow smile the first time in a very long time. I felt the same butterflies again, and there were actually glowing butterflies flying off of my dress, to the crowd.
BAM! There was a big crash in between the crowd and stage, at least no one got hurt!
