Mismatch || Hyunlix

My love has come along, My lonely days are over, And life is like a song

The first month with three kids, triplets at that wasn't... the easiest, to say the least. 

Not that they had expected anything else, but it took awhile to get used to. Constantly being woke in the night by cries, with Felix rushing off almost immediately from the bed. Ten minutes later (because Hyunjin took a lot of noise to wake up) he'd find his wife rocking their youngest song while their daughter fussed, waking her second brother and it wasn't long before the nursery was just filled with cries. Hyunjin would try and shush Dohyun, but then Hyunmi would be left alone so Felix would try and calm her down, but at the same time Hyunjun wouldn't allow his mother to put him down either. 

It was busy, hectic and they had had absolutely no sleep for weeks. At one point, Felix refused to even try going to bed, worried they'd fall to deep asleep of tiredness they wouldn't hear the kids. Hyunjin once passed out right on the breakfast table, snoring without a worry as his mother and in-laws stared at him in both pity and stun, before Felix got the bigger baby to wake up. 

Dohyun was certainly the most calm, of the three. He wouldn't fuss around particularly, usually only driven by the antics of his siblings when he would begin crying as well, but otherwise, he was quiet. Hyunmi and Hyunjun were a little different, with Hyunjun always wanting attention from his mother at the exact same time his sister did. They wouldn't be satisfied if they were both being held either, it was always Felix's full attention on one of them, they'd keep fussing if not. 

Which was way, presently, Hyunjin was sleeping on his wife's shoulder, as Felix busily played around with his triplets, letting out a yawn in between. They barely got any  sleep last night, and he'd just finished feeding the three. A nice nap would be appreciated. 

Hyunjun was sleeping in his arms (much to the disappointment of his sister) and Dohyun was on his tummy on the bed, babbling while grabbing the bedsheets and moving his arms around. he was just getting used to moving around slightly with his arms and legs, with Felix helping him roll over now and then. Hyunmi had been playing around with her father for a long time, until she fell asleep in his arms as well. 

"Hyunnie, Sweetheart... Wake up..." Felix says softly, taking his arm to gently poke the side of his husband's cheek. Hyunjin shifts a bit, sighing under his breath but doesn't make a move to wake up. Felix sighs, knowing how difficult it would be to wake his alpha. 

"Hyunjin, We've got to get the kids to bed." Felix says, patting his alpha's shoulder now, but the latter still doesn't make a move. Giving up with a silent groan, Felix thinks awhile, before his eyes light up. 

He leans his head towards his husband's face, kissing the alpha's forehead and then his nose. He waits a few seconds, and slowly, those two green irises are staring at him. 

"L-Lix?" Hyunjin whispers, in confusion. He touches his nose, as if trying to recollect the touch from before. His omega laughs softly at the situation, making a reminder to himself to tease his husband about it later. 

"Helena, and Henry, we need to get them to bed." Felix tells his husband in a soft voice as to not wake up the kids, and Hyunjin nods while mumbling something to himself. 

"I'll take these two, you watch Dohyun." Hyunjin says, taking both the little sleeping babies in his arms and leaving a kiss on Felix's cheek with a loving smile. The freckled omega gives a small smile back, before laying down next to his second triplet and making sounds, watching as the little baby replies back in babbles. 

Dohyun looks around with his beautiful dark blue eyes, his small hands grabbing the bedsheet as his head turns to his mother, his small pouty lips turns into an 'o'. He slowly falls to his side, sitting there on the blanket while blinking at Felix like an overturned tortoise.
