I walked into the studio, buzzing with joy. I'd managed to help win Internationals! I felt like my journey at The Next Step wasn't finished, but then again I needed something more.
Lo and behold James, Eldon and West, the chaotic trio.
"WE'RE GOING TO LONDON!" They whooped, pulling me up to celebrate.
"We're going to London?" I asked, grinning and raised an eyebrow.
"It's LONDON, BABY!" James celebrated.
"Why're we going to London?" I asked in confusion, breaking the celebratory moment. They, collectively, looked at me as if I was dumb.
"We've been invited to compete in the Bangers and Mashups Hip Hop Extravaganza, that's what!" A firework just went off in my brain. The most prestigious hip hop competition in the world wants us to compete?!
"Why didn't you say that earlier?!" We all celebrated, lifting West up on our shoulders before Eldon thought of something.
"Won't you have to leave The Next Step this year?" He frowned, looking at me.
"This is Bangers and Mashups." I breathed. "I'm not missing this for the world."
This is my new chapter. And this time, I'm more than happy to turn the page.
