Chapter 1

Chapter 1: The Murder

Dana was not very happy. Dana's husband George was a jerk. George would mess around with other women. Dana wants to work the marriage out. Dana did not have a job. Dana was a housewife and George was the one working. Dana marries George out of high school. Dana is a beautiful woman and a lot of guys liked her back in high school. Dana was madly in love with her husband George. Dana did not have a great relationship with her parents. Dana did go to college, but George got jealous. Dana stopped going to college.

The next night Dana and George went to bed. Dana took something to help her sleep. Later, Dana woke up and she saw that her husband was dead. Dana called 911. The police rush right over. The police looked around. Dana was taken to the hospital. The doctor told the police that someone had assaulted Dana. Dana knew that the police thought she had killed her husband. The police were being rude to Dana. Dana got a lawyer. The lawyer told Dana to be careful what she said to the police. George had a lot of enemies.

The police arrest Dana for murdering her husband. Dana was found guilty of murder. Dana could not believe she was going to prison for a crime she did not commit. The police did everything they could to make her confess to a crime she did not commit. Dana's lawyer did not do a good job defending her. Dana's in-laws did not believe she had killed their son. They were trying to find another lawyer for her. Dana did make some friends in prison. Dana is taking some law classes. Dana was hoping to get her law degree.

Victoria

Victoria did not have a job. Victoria's husband Howard's acting career had been successful, so they did not worry about money. Victoria and Howard got a big house. Victoria's Aunt Jessica would come to visit. Victoria loves her aunt like a mother. Victoria's parents were dead, so her aunt was the only family she had. Victoria was watching the news about a woman named Dana Rollin who killed her husband. Victoria did not know if this woman was guilty or innocent. Victoria could not believe how badly the news was talking about Dana Rollin.

Victoria lived in New York. Victoria's Aunt Jessica has a nephew named Grady Fletcher and he lived in New York too. Grady and Victoria were not related, but they were friends. Grady didn't work either. Grady also had bad luck finding a job. When Grady does find a job he has a hard time keeping it. Donna was a great wife and she was very supportive of Grady. Victoria was looking at the want ads when her aunt called. "Hey Aunt Jessica, what is going on?" Victoria asks. "I just wanted to see how you and Howard are doing," Jessica inquired.

"We are doing well. How are you doing?" Victoria asks. "I am doing great. I have just finished my book and it is going to be published soon," Jessica replied. "I am happy for you Aunt Jessica," Victoria replied. Victoria finished talking to her aunt. Howard was still working on a movie in England. Victoria was reading the newspaper about Dana Rollin and she went to bed.
