Let Me Love You: Eddie Munson

Eddie had never really believed in love at first sight, he thought it was corny and didn't understand how someone could fall in love with a first sighting that was until he saw you...you walked into the lunchroom talking with Nancy Wheeler about something. He watched as you two took a seat at a table not stopping your conversation while the boys tried to figure out who Eddie was. They watched as Eddie got up and started walking over towards your table which caused Dustin to nudge Mike. 

"He hasn't met your cousin yet?" Dustin whispered to Mike as they watched Eddie approach your table. 

"No, but he's about to." Mike said with a snicker as you were known for not being like most girls. 

Eddie took a seat at your table noticing how you and Nancy stopped your conversation and looked at him, while he took in the little details of your outfit, for example, the ring you wore around your neck and the multiple bracelets stacked on your wrist to the rings on your fingers. 

"So are you gonna keep staring at me like I'm a piece of meat or are you gonna tell me why you came over here?" You said snapping him out of his thoughts. 

"Oh yeah sorry about but I just wanted to see if maybe you be interested in maybe going out with me this past Friday?" He asked. 

"Let me stop you right there, first off I don't know your name and you expect me to go out with you?" You asked him confused. 

"Oh, I'm sorry it's Eddie." He said quickly still feeling hopeful. 

"Okay, Eddie, I don't know if this is some joke put on my cousin and his friend or what...." You said waving to Mike and Dustin making Eddie look at you shocked. 

"But I don't go out with people I just met, I prefer to date them once I know more than your name. So maybe we can get to know each other a little more then maybe we can talk about that date." You said smiling at him as he nodded still unsure of what just happened and walked back to his table. 

"Tell me everything Wheeler." Eddie said as he took a seat at his table. 

For the next few days, Eddie learned as much as he could about you from Mike, and still tried to get you to out with him in hopes that one day you would say yes. You honestly found it adorable how hard Eddie kept trying to get you to go out with him even as far as getting you cherry blossoms that weren't grown in Hawkins and wrote the most amazing letter. 

After the fourth period, you made your way to the auditorium where Mike told you that Hellfire was held. Eddie was in the middle of setting up when he saw you walk in and make him stop what he was doing. 

"What bring you by a princess?" He asked with a smile. 

"Well I umm got this really sweet letter in my locker along with my favorite flowers, so I figured that maybe I give the guy a chance." You said making Eddie smile. 

"Really?" He asked lacing your hands with his. 

"Really." You said smiling at him.
