About halfway through the song, Tanjiro noticed that none of his classmates were paying attention to his karaoke round or his song. They were all chatting, scrolling on their phones, or they were eating.
Tanjiro's eyebrows furrowed in worry, as he thought that his singing wasn't good. But then, as he was about to give up, he suddenly heard a small bam bam that came from a set of bongo drums.
He whirled around to see Kanao. She was still seated, but she was holding a miniature set of bongo drums, and she was tapping the drums in time to the beat of Tanjiro's song.
Tanjiro's sense of resolve was restored when he saw Kanao playing the drums for him. He began singing louder and more passionately for the last half of the song.
When he finally finished the song, he went over to where Kanao was seated.
"Thank you for accompanying me with the drums," Tanjiro said, as he gestured to the set of bongos in Kanao's lap. Kanao merely nodded.
As Tanjiro was about to sit down, Zenitsu took him and Kanao by the hands, insisting that they sing one last song along with him and Inosuke.
Both Tanjiro and Kanao were eager now, and they both tried their very best to sing their hearts out...
