I woke up after having a dream of some guy working out while smoking a cigarette and drinking some mint alcohol, his weight was thrown out the window so he went outside to get it.
The moment he got his weight his house exploded, talk about luck.
You'd think this would've been a crazy dream but no it was real so here I am with Dad at the man's house. Either I'm physic or I'm psycho.
"Mr. Lasser, we have a lot of people out here investigating the explosion. If you were involved with any kind of bomb making now's the time to let me know before anybody gets hurt" Dad says
"Bomb making? Me? I wouldn't know how to do any of that, everything I love was in there" Hap says as he changes to a Blutbad then he turns back continuing "my entire life. My brothers baseball cards, now if my brother knew about this he would crap a car"
"Shouldn't he be happy that you're alive?" I question
"How's he gonna hear?" Hap says and I shrug my shoulders
"Hey, you're gonna need a place to stay tonight. Why don't you give your brother a call?" Dad says handing his phone to Hap
"Your cell phones not that good, detective, he didn't make it out" Hap says, was he in the house?
"Didn't make it out of what?" Hank questions
"His double-wide. Same thing happened to him last month with him in it. He's so dead" Hap says and Dad gives Hank a look
Who would want to murder Hap? He seems so sweet. Dumb but sweet.
We went the the precinct I guess I passed out cause when I woke up I saw Hap hugging Monroe.
When did he show up? And he has friends??
"So, you believe both explosions were accidental?" Dad questions that guy I don't know his name but I haven't argued with him yet so that's probably why I don't know who he is.
"Yeah, that's how it appears to me. The inlet valve on the propane stove from the geodesic dome was corroded. Not exactly unheard of in this wet climate. So, we had a propane leak.The guy's breaker box was out of code. He turned on one appliance too many. There was a spark. That was the point of ignition" The guy says about Hap's house
"But how exactly would that a break a pipe?" I ask and the guy gives me a weird look while Dad gives me 'that's right' looks as he remembered
"Well I mean the pipe that connected to the house was broken off, that can't just break by itself someone would've had to broken that" I say
"Was it rusted?"
"Yes.. a little" I say ugh he's gonna say how it's rusted so it broke off
"Rusted metal plus wet weather equals broken metal. Now, in the older brother's double wide, we had a nicked propane line" And from that point I don't even listen to him anymore
