Parker Monroe was a drunken mix-up between two friends, Pete Mitchell and Claire Monroe, 22 years ago. Parker is called to top gun 2 years after graduation to train for a mission alongside other top-of-the-class students. Parker knows Pete is her father, but he has no idea who she is until he arrives to teach them. Iceman was aware of this information, and it is one of the reasons Parker is back at top gun, despite the fact that she was paralyzed from the waist down two years ago when her aircraft malfunctioned and she was unable to escape. Parker will not only face her father and this assignment, but she will also reunite with the one and only Bradley Bradshaw.
