Emily Carter is known as Shadow to the entire US navy. Shadow is one of the highest level fighter pilot agents there is and is known for her highly classified missions. Not only that but she is the youngest to enter the US navy and graduate the Top Gun program. Iceman calls her back to Top Gun for another mission, little does she know her father who doesn't even know of her existence is their instructor.

When the daughter of Pete "Maverick" Mitchell meets the two most stubborn men of the most elite Top Gun graduates, that's bound to get messy. Mavi "Dark-Bringer" Mitchell knew she would have two guys running after her, but that's the fun part, isn't it? Mavi grew up with Rooster while Maverick and Goose were still at Top Gun. Maverick had Penny take Mavi in fear of what would happen to her if an enemy fleet attacked. Mavi came back to be part of Top Gun, graduated at second-best (Hangman was first). Called back to Top Gun with the elite graduates for more training. Mavi felt a little weird with her father teaching her, but that didn't stop her from throwing him off with a few tricks she learned from Goose. In this Alternate Universe, Amelia (Penny's daughter) does not exist. ICEMAN DOES NOT DIE IN THIS AU. I do not own any characters in this story except for Mavi. In their last months attending the Naval Academy, main pilot Maverick and is weapon systems officer Goose are tested to their highest abilities in a above water dogfight training exercise. When their wingman and dear friend has a close call with the sea below, he turns in his wings; leaving Maverick and Goose at the number one spot in the Pacific Coast Naval Academy. The two aviators are called into the commander's office, and are delivered news they never thought possible. Picking up girls and trashy takeout on the way, Maverick and Goose have been sent to the United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instruction Program. Or as the pilots call it...Top Gun.
