Panda Mei and Jia were shocked at what ming just told them

Panda Mei: are you serious?!

Mei started wrecking the temple and her family tried to stop her

Jia: Mei calm down!

Panda Mei: it's a curse!

Ming: listing to me! there's a cure!

Mei stopped and listened to what her mom had to say

Panda Mei: how do you know?

Ming: because it happened to me

Jia: it did?

Mei: why didn't you warn me?

Ming: I thought Jia would get it first! The oldest child is usually the one who gets their panda first

Jia: then why did Mei become a panda first?

Ming: I don't know

Mei: so how am I going to be cured?

Ming: on the next red moon you'll undergo a ritual that will seal your red panda spirit into a amulet and then you'll be cured for good. Just like me.

Jia: that doesn't sound so bad

Ming: that's true but any strong emotion will release the panda. And the more its released the more difficult the ritual will be. There is a darkness to the panda. Otherwise you'll both never be free

Jin: The next red moon should be the 25th

Panda Mei: that's a whole month away!

Jia: I'll be right by your side mei. I'll make sure you won't release the panda

The family took everything out of mei and Jias room except for two mattresses and blankets. Mei and Jia got ready for bad then laid down on the mattresses. Jia watched her parents comfort Mei then they left the room.

Jia: goodnight Mei.

Mei: goodnight Jia

The next day in Mei and jias room mei was struggling to stay calm until they both heard abbey Priya and Miriam right outside the window. Luckily the curtains were closed

Miriam: Mei Jia it's us. Open up

Jia: oh no

Priya: Are you okay? Tap if you can hear us.

Abby: One for yes two for no!

Miriam: We were so worried. We thought you died of embarrassment.

Priya: You need more pads? I brought extra.

Abby: forget that. 4 Town's coming to Toronto!

Panda Mei opened the window and her friends saw her as a panda so Jia brought them inside

Jia: guys before you start freaking out it's Mei.

Panda Mei: yeah it's me

Priya: are you a werewolf?

Panda Mei: no. What?

Abby: she is a red panda!

Jia: that's right

Priya: sick. Jia are you a panda to?

Jia: no but It will happen to me eventually

Miriam: so what happened?

Panda Mei: It's just some you know inconvenient genetic thing I got from my mom. I mean It'll go away. Eventually. Maybe.

She started crying and everyone started comforting her

Panda Mei: I hate this! I'm smelly. My mom won't even look at me and now 4 Town? When are they coming?

Abby: may 18. They just announced it

Panda mei: There's no way this will be gone by then. Just go. Go become women without me.

Mei continued crying and her friends new just how to cheer her up.

Jia didn't like the song but she she'll do anything to make her sister happy

Miriam Priya abby and Jia hugged Mei and she hugged back

Panda Mei: thanks guys you the best

Miriam: we love you Mei.

Jia: we're always going to be here for you

Priya: You're our girl.

Miriam: Yeah. No matter what. Panda or no panda.

Mei turned back into a human but now she had red hair

Miriam: your you!

Jia: this is great!

Miriam: and you look amazing!

Priya: red it looks so good on you

Abby: is it gone?

Mei: for now but if I get to excited it'll come right back.

Abby pinched Mei on the cheek

Mei: ow! Abby what the heck?!

Mei didn't turn into a red panda

Mei: something feels different

Jia: can you control your emotions now?

Mei: lets test it. Abby hit me

Abby hit Mei a little to hard and she fell on the floor. Jia helped her back up
