It was raining cats and dogs in the city. In the night, Everyone was running for shelter and people closing down there shops. But one shop had remained open. A male figure sat in the shop playing some videos games not minding the rain.
"Shit I almost nailed it" he slammed the table and held his head on the chair that supported his weight. He gazed up the dimming lights of the ceiling in silence as a sudden ring of the phone snapped him back to reality.
He got the phone on his left as he picked it up. His eyes met the rain drops on the glass windows. "Oh...it was raining" he mumbled before he spoke on phone.."Hi, mom what's up?"
"Are you aware of the Rain?" The woman on phone attered.
"Yes I just noticed it was raining."He smiled at the rain while talking,watching the drops slide down to the glass of the windows.
"Do you know what time it is?" She asked again.
"Yes its 10pm I will be home in no time." He answered and touched the window.
"Don't use your car the road is slippery" The woman warned as she was concerned of his son.
"I will mom ....am hanging up" he switched off his phone and placed it on the table.
He then entered the rain which was showering heavily. He looked down at his reflection in the water and smiled at the way the rain was washing up the earth from his point of view at his shop.
"ITS SO FUN" he screamed on the road near his shop and started splashing the water peddles while getting soaked. He seemed to have fun through all that.

"What the hell is wrong with your brother he shows up at night.....Wait?" A woman spoke as she turned to you with a smirk.
"I know what you are thinking mom... Please don't ask me I know nothing"You closed a book in your hands and turned to your mother on your left.
"You know very well how much he likes the rain except him here after the rain stops." You spoke as you crossed your legs on the sofa.
"Does he have someone he vibes or something?" She asked sitting near you.
You looked at how your mother was expressing her self to you.
"Mom I have online school tomorrow good night tell Caslon I was tired." You moved with your book in your hands up stairs.
"Oh come on girl you don't want to talk about men. No wonder you have poor taste in them?"She painted a sad face resting her head on the sofa.
You stopped at your tracks from your mother's judgment, the way that hit you hard, you almost brought back fire to her. "Unlike you mo-" you where cut off by a knock on the door.
"Its about time!" You now moved down to open the door as you were a little bit pissed from the current argument you were about to cause.
You looked surprised when you saw a male figure standing before you. Your eyes widened. And your jaw dropped then immediately lost your balance and fell on your feet. The fear that painted on your face was enough to make you shutter.
"D....dddad?" You whined.
Your mom on the sofa jumped out of it and looked at the door way displaying a male figure all soaked and the eyes red. She then stared at you who was sitting on the floor with disbelief.
She stood up and walked to you. She then helped you up and turned to the male figure.
"Y/n, honey!" He spoke with despair. His hair was all soaked and he was dripping water. He had a creepy yet welcoming smile pasted on his face.
