Islas POV
I woke up in Toms room lying next to him, " Morning" I said smiling. We were rudely interrupted when Ben came storming In. " Tom! I need to talk to you about something really-". He trailed off when he saw me. Tom got up and put on a hoodie. " We can talk about it outside.." he said firmly. I sighed and slipped on one of Toms hoodies, I then went downstairs.
The girls were sitting at the table drinking coffee. "Morning! I overheard Ben on the phone and apparently someone invaded their shipments." She said cheerfully. " That means mission time!" Said Crystal happily. I smiled and we all went upstairs to get into our mission suits and get out our weapons. Then Tom and Ben told us to get into the car. Tom looked worried.
"You'll be okay covering the outside of the building with Crystal?" He said. " Yeah Tom its fine I'm not a beginner anymore, I don't need you to supervise." I said rolling my eyes. Once we arrived at the building Crystal and I headed around the back guns blazing. Then a group came charging towards us, we immediately started shooting at them as they shot back.
After we finished them all we smiled victoriously at each other. " That's it for the night, we did good!" I said, Crystal smiled and did a little victory dance and then we walked out about to leave. Then we heard a gun cock, there was someone behind us with a gun. He aimed the gun and shot directly at Crystal. I lunged in-front of her and felt the bullet go into my stomach, then everything just went black..

Toms POV
I was at the top floor of the building interrogating someone when I heard it, 'BANG', I thought nothing of it since the girls were shooting anyone who invaded downstairs but then I heard Crystal scream , " ISLA NO!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. I  ran faster than I ever have before in my whole life.
I got downstairs and saw A man aiming the gun at Crystal and Isla lying on the ground, I immediately shot the man and ran to Isla. Crystal took out her phone frantically to call an ambulance. I got down on the floor on my knees, there was blood everywhere and her eyes were shut, I could still feel a pulse, I couldn't lose her, I put pressure on her wound and yelled at her, " ISLA DON'T  YOU DIE ON ME NOW!"I shouted with fear in my voice.
The ambulance pulled up after a few minutes, I carried her over to the paramedics and they started loading her into the ambulance and checking her vitals. This wasn't happening, it didn't feel real. Ben was hugging Crystal as she cried, "She took that damn bullet for me, this is my fault!" She said hysterically. Ben hugged her tightly, " This isn't your fault it will be okay." He said gently trying to calm her.
I stood there watching them leave in the ambulance, for a moment I just wanted to die but then I realised I had to be there for her. I ran into my car and drove as fast as I possibly could to the hospital. Once I arrived with the crew we all sat in the waiting room, I couldn't sit there any longer idle.
I got up and went up to the reception angrily, " Where's Islas doctor, I need an update!" I said shakily. Right on time Islas doctor came out with a clipboard. " How is she!?" I said pensively. " The gunshot wound didn't hit any vital organs, she should make a full recovery." He said firmly.
I collapsed onto my knees in sheer relief, she would be okay. The whole crew stood next to me cheering happily. " You will be aloud to see her shortly, she is asleep at the moment, the surgery was intense." The doctor said timidly. I looked at him sternly, " Hell no, I'm going in now." I said angrily.
I burst through the hospital room and was relieved to see her with her eyes wide open and she was sitting up, " There's our little fighter." Said Ben brightly. "I'm still mad at you for taking that bullet you know!" Crystal said looking down at her. She was clearly quite drugged up from whatever they gave her during surgery. " You need to take these two weeks to recover, I don't want you doing any missions!" I said firmly. Although she was in a weak state she still managed to roll her eyes, I was so relieved that she was okay..
