The House Was Burning

Flames were all I could see
I Befriended a gaslight
Should've seen it a fiend
I lay in the corner
watching the flames burn the door

My screams for help go unheard
as the flames burn more
The flame keeps getting closer
but how could it get to this

Just the morning there was no flame
Or atleast none I could reminisce
The house was water and the plants were green
Now everything is fire
Not a drop to be seen

It burned like a wildfire
Tearing through everything
Destroying the cage of water I hid within
Who knew water could be burnt so quick

In less than a minute it's turned into hellfire
Now after escaping the house on fire
I'm left to reminisce the fear of the flames

For I've left again before I could be burnt
But the flames are still here
I fear that I might be burnt
For there's no one to ask for help
