So, just to explain something quickly I'll follow the events that happen in the kdrama, but only those that I think are relevant, so not all cases that appear in the drama will be covered here. Basically I'll inly put the ones that Joong-Gil appears in or the ones that I deem necessary.
Also, I don't know how this works in the drama/webtoon universe, but here, when the thread connecting two people is broken, only the person who commited suicide keeps the thread like this, while the other gets a new chance.
Now, let's go to the chapter! :)

------------------------------------------------------------

When Si-eun arrived at the place they called Jumadeung, she was amazed. The building seemed never-ending. It was beautiful. Looking around, she noticed several people in business clothes going from one side to the other.

She realized that she was not the only one who was impressed, because the boy who had fallen off the bridge with her could not even close his mouth.

─ Hurry up! - the pink-haired woman shouted.

The two stopped focusing on the decoration of the building when they heard this, and walked quickly, following her. Si-eun couldn't contain her laughter as she watched the man stumble and fall to the ground. He looked at her, embarrassed, and she wrinkled her nose, trying not to laugh anymore.

As they reached a huge white room, Si-eun gave a resounding "wow". It was even more stunning there.

The boy accompanying her turned to the reaper.

─ And here is...

─ The principal's office, yes. - she paused. - Or rather, the Jade Emperor's office.

Hearing this, they both looked at the woman, surprised.

─ Really? - they asked in unison, and then looked at each other.

─ Wait... does she really wear a long white dress? - he asked.

─ Yes, and she has horns, and she also likes to take a bath in a bathtub full of hellfire. - replied the woman.
Si-eun gave the boy a cornered look when she realized that he had believed her. Maybe he was more clueless than she thought, because clearly it was a joke.

─ Well, that's it. We'll never see each other again.

The two said goodbye to her, being left alone.

─ Will the Emperor let us live normally again? - Si-eun asked.

─ Who knows - He shrugged. - Maybe she'll give us a reward for the accident.
Hearing that, she looked at him excitedly.

─ Could she make me a millionaire?

He didn't answer, sitting down on one of the couches in the living room, focused on the view in front of him. She imitated him, sitting on the opposite sofa.

They were both silent for a few minutes, until a lady appeared beside the boy, startling him.

─ Life after death isn't so different, is it? - asked the two of them.

Si-eun pressed her lips together, avoiding laughing as she watched the woman force the man to drink the drink she was holding.

─ You must be thirsty too. - she said, handing a drink to Si-eun, who gladly accepted it.

The man, who had been quiet until then, caught the older woman's attention.

─ But, ma'am... I'm curious. What is the Empress of Jade like? Does she really have horns and bathes in a hellish sauna?
