such a thing to do, but surely-
it's a learning experience as your parents say
oh, just a broken heart and self-depreciation
nothing much
I just need someone to love me
because I can't love myself

Why are the Fates cruel?
Do they need me to scream and curse in profanity?
Shake my fist to the sky and cry in the middle of a wheat field?
yet this is not a movie
there is no script, no destiny written for me
a road of fate staring at me, taunting me

I wiped my tears and stood up
if fate leads me, and I hold destiny
maybe I need to walk this time
instead of running and holding on to something that moves too fast-
I'm slow that I know
but I'm trying, for the love of God
I am trying
give me time
give me love
give me a chance

sino pa ba and iibigin ko kung hindi ikaw?"

by now you would realize that yes
I can speak Tagalog
it is one of my mother languages
and still fascinates me like a child
I was taught to do better in English rather than Tagalog as it is "cringe"
this is one of the few moments I love knowing my culture and language
