As ruggie's s/o it's not like he's the type of person to soften up to you all the time so it might take a while to adjust to the relationship.

In his eyes the only people he would steal for is Leona and you since your deemed "worthy" in his eyes.

When you first met he couldn't keep his eyes off of you and he is very and I mean VERY overprotective of you.

Whenever he is around you it takes half a hour to get him to stop cuddling into your chest (even if your flat he loves it)

Show him the same affection he shows you! He loves being told that you don't care about his insecurities about being of lower status and you love him for him.
