Izuku closed the door behind him and walked closer to the terrified girl. She almost started to cry so Izuku stopped coming closer and just stood staring at her. "H-hey you don't need to be scared... Okay. I'm not going to hurt you... I promise." Izuku said. The girl stayed silent. "My name is Izuku. Izuku Midoriya but you can call me Deku since it's shorter." He smiled "D-Deku?" "Yeah. Can I come closer?" The girl named Eri looked at the floor not knowing if she could trust the greenette. "I'm going to take a step closer okay?" Eri nodded and Izuku did what he said he would do. He took a step closer and was now close enough to sit down on Eri's bed but he didn't. He didn't want to scare Eri. "Can I sit down on your bed?" Izuku asked. Eri nodded jet again and Izuku sat down.
"Can I know your name?" Eri hesitated a little before speaking. "M-my name i-is Eri." The gray-haired girl said stuttering. "Eri, That's a beautiful name." "T-thank you." Izuku looked at the bandages around Eri's arms. "How did you get hurt so bad like that?" He pointed at her arms. Eri stayed silent. "It's okay. You can tell me." "Master hurts me sometimes." She said. "I'm sorry he das that. I can't believe he could hurt you just like that. You are so cute and nice." Eri looked up at Izuku with big eyes and teared up a bit. "You really think so?" Izuku nodded with a smile on his face. Eri smiled a little too. "D-Deku?" "Yes?" "Can I hug you please?"Izuku chuckled a bit. "Sure I love hugs, you don't even have to ask."Eri crawled closer to Izuku and swung her arms around Izuku's neck.

Eri smiled happily as Izuku hugged her back. She was happy for the first time in as long as she can remember.
