Ch-5 Paris & Alexander...(part 1)

VIOLETTA POV

As soon as I landed in Paris, I greeted by my best friend. It's been ages since I have seen her. My abrupt leaving didn't leave her with much. I hurt her as well so it's time to make things right.

"Vi!! It's been so long?! I am so happy you decided to come back! I missed you." She jumped on me.

"Wow, take it slow." I giggled. "I missed you too and I am sorry I left just like that. There were a lot of things which I can't began to deal with..." I signed.

She raised an eyebrow and said in a sarcastic tone, " Is that why you have a hot hunk following you around?" I knew what she meant. When we landed on Paris, Marcus had to go and take care of business as usual. Vincent was on him like rice from the moment he landed. I don't blame him. Seemed like a lot of shit went down since he left. And I was to blame cause I kept him out of everything. Even though it was not my doing but can not escape being liable for the same. But, I don't know why he left Alexander with me. He that guy just pisses me off.

I turned to meet his eyes. "Boniour bella." He winked at Nina.

"Charmed and happily married." She slayed. She looked at me, " take care girl he seems trouble."

I picked up my bag and went a BnB. Both Nina and Marcus offered me to stay with them but i couldn't. Nina need her new married life space and Marcus ... it's too soon. "Girl, I cant even began to explain. Lots happened."

We reached my BnB and as I kept my bags down. And I told everything to Nina. I don't have secrets from her and she is loyal she won't tell anyone else.

"So how do wanna proceed? I mean I know you Vi, this is a lot for even you. Are you sure you will be able to handle everything?"

"I don't know, but I owe it to him to try. To make an effort to learn about his world. It's not gonna be easy but I love him."

She smiled at me and pulled me into a hug. "I will be with you all the way ." She peeked behind me. "How long will this Playboy will be following you around."

"I don't know girl... Marcus left him with me. God knows what his reasons are but he does get on my nerve." I rolled my eyes.

"I wish I could stay longer but I have to do this interview with BoldWire Co." she hugged and kissed me goodbye.

"I will see you later." I smiled.

She leaned close to me whispered, "I have to say he is hot though." She smirked.

"Hot but an Ass." I commented.

She left.

As soon as I turned I saw Alexander behind me. Very close. "My ears are burning...talking about me mon Cheri?"

"You wish." I scoffed.

I picked up my bag to go out. Before moving I already had an interview at the SHL hospital and got a position there. I start from tomorrow and still had today. Marcus is at work so staying at home is boring. Then I remember it's been since I have seen Luke. He followed me. "You seriously gonna follow me all day?"

"Honey I don't like it too but, I owe Marcus."

I rolled my eyes at him. God how long does this will go on for.

"FYI, you not my first choose. I can't flirt with others girls while being with you."

"You're disgusting." I got in the car.

"You're wrong. I am hot." He got in after me. "So where are we going?" He asked

I stated the ignition. "To grab something to eat and meeting a friend." We reached the restaurant sooner than expected there was no traffic today.

I went in and got seat for us. The waitress came to us,"yeah can I have a salmon en papillote and lemonade?" I looked at Alexander.

"I will have Bouef bourguignon with a glass of red like you."he winked at our waitress. She blushed and smiled.

I looked at with a sign. He is the bodyguard? From which planet?! I am the babysitter here.

The waitress took our orders and before she could leave, I said to her"can you please let Chef Luke know Violetta is here to see him? Thank you."

Before our meal could arrive I see a familiar face greeting us.

"My gosh! Violetta! What a surprise! I have missed you." Luke came to for a hug and kissed my cheeks. "You left so suddenly.." he took the chair beside me.

"Yeah, there was a lot to do at home."

"So how long you're staying this time? "

"I don't know yet but for some time I think."

"Well I am one very happy you will be hanging around." He smiled and held my hand.

I gave a small nervous laugh, and looked at him. Our drinks came and I took the opportunity to remove my hand from his and concentrate on the drink. "By the way, this is Alexander, one of my acquaintance.

"Hey." He gave an eyebrow raise. Has this guy ever learned proper etiquette? I am expecting too much of him I think now...

"Nice to meet you." Luke gave a charming smile and turned to concentrate on me. "So if you're staying for a while what about work? Have you applied anywhere?"

"I have! And have gotten a few response too. Let's see which one pans out." We continued our small talks. "By the way I am having a birthday party on 16th July and you're invited." And he turned to Alexander too. "You too man!"

He just raised his glass to him saying thanks. Now that I noticed he is literally observing us. Like staring intently. I am getting more confused reading this guy.

"Definitely I will be there! Can I bring someone?" I don't know if Marcus will be available or not yet, but I will ask him.

"Oh sure who is it by the way?"

"He is my boyfriend. But I have to check his schedule if he will be free."

"Oh" his face fell for a bit but he smiled again. "I love to meet him." He looked at his watch. "I gotta get back now or Chef will kick me out." I laughed.

"See ya, " he got up and kissed my both cheeks as goodbye. I still don't get used to this custom. I blushed.

"He is a charming fellow." Alexander pointed out.

"Yeah, he is a sweet guy."

"Does Marcus know about him?" He asked me.

I gave him a confused look. "Well, they haven't had a chance to meet yet but, soon."

"Well good luck keeping him from knocking this guy out of the world." He took a sip of his wine smirking and I cocked on mine.

"Wait what?!"

"Yeah, as far as I know Marcus he don't not appreciate another man hitting on his woman." He looked at me.

"What? No way!" I laugh. "Luke was not hitting on me."

"Well, i didn't know you were blind."

"Come on, you're just exaggerating a little."

"Well, oblivious too." He looked at me laughing.

"Really?" Now I was quite unsure. Does Luke likes me? I didn't have him that hint or anything then why? I didn't put much mind into it and shrug it off.

We finished earring. "Now what do you wanna do?"

"I don't know. I don't know many people here. Only Nina and Luke. Maybe go back to my BnB and watch some TV?"

"It's boring."

I gave him a bland look,"you got anything fun in mind for us to do then?"

He gave me one of him sexy smiles. "Qui."

"Let's go then." I said challenging him. "Can't wait to see what is fun for you and don't say hitting of random girls" I rolled my eyes.

He just looked at me intensely and smiled. "You have no idea mon Cheri." It gave me chills.

Did I went to far taunting him? And dug my own grave?

We got up and went to the car. "This time I am driving." He said smirking.
