5+1 (Hug)

And then there is a sudden pain in his neck and Maaran knows nothing after that.

...

When he wakes up, it is to someone shaking him and shouting. He opens his eyes slowly as for some reason his eyelids feel extremely sluggish. He feels extremely sluggish.

There is someone standing in front of him. Wait, they are bent to reach his eye level.

His head feels heavy, so he turns it and sees the kidnapper on the ground. Aha... Is he dead? No, the sucker's still breathing. Wait the kidnapper is on the ground. What happened? He was waiting for,

"Vetri" the word rolls out of his mouth as if he was a sloth.

"Yeah, that's my name!"

Maaran jerks his head so fast, he might have given himself a whiplash, or a concussion, or maybe he already had one.

There Vetri is, standing infront of him, bent down to reach his eye level with a half smile. There is something in his eyes that maaran doesn't recognise.

"Youuu, hooow?" Again, like a sloth!

"How did I know where you were? Duh! I always do..." Vetri says arranging the kidnapper for it to look like he was not attacked by someone else.

"Youuu knewww?" Maaran asks, because if he did know and if he could come, then what in the world was stopping him from atleast sending a text message?

"Yeah.. I should have come here sooner." Vetri says and he sounds small and is that guilt in his voice? So, Maaran says,

"Engggga iruuu?" the hell is wrong with his voice.

(Wheeerrrr yuuuu?)

"Enga irundhen nu kekuriya? I was in abscond, that's why I couldn't come sooner"  Vetri says loosening Maaran's hands.

(Are you asking me where I was?)

Oh great heavens, this kid!!!

They are interrupted by a siren and both look up at the same time.

Then Vetri sighs and says, "your cavalry is here!" and attempts to leave.

This time Maaran shouts, or tries to cause all he gets out is a sluggish whisper.

"Vetriiiii"

Vetri turns around.

"Waitttt... Stayyy..."

No they would catch him. So Maaran shakes his head and then says,

"Ateasz *(atleast makkale) calllll!"

Something in softens in Vetri's eyes and he comes forward and says, "I'll try!"

He pats Maaran and holds his shoulder for a moment and then makes a run for it.

Maaran sees him go as he passes out.

.....

The next morning Maaran wakes up and Vetri is gone.
