Chapter 8:
(3 weeks later)
Finns pov:
It's been a couple weeks since Rachel and I have started hanging out . It feels nice to hang out with her, it's refreshing to have her in my life . I feel like I can tell her anything , I can't even do that with Quinn . After school Rachel and I were practicing a number for glee club . We were sitting in the auditorium going over sheet music .
"So what do you think we should sing?" She asked
"Well Mr.Shue wanted us to sing something that represents how we feel when we're with our favorite person." I said
"Oh well you should sing something to Quinn . What about something by John Legend or Bruno Mars? You could sing All of Me or Just the Way You Are ? I think that would be cute ." She said
I looked down and then said,
"Actually I don't think I wanna sing to Quinn."
She looked at me surprised,
"Oh? Well who then ? Maybe Kurt ? I know he's your brother but that would be super sweet." She said looking down at the sheet music.
"Actually , I wanted to sing something to you." I told her
"Me?" She said looking at me confused .
I smiled and said, "Rachel, I know you and I are just friends but I like being around you. You have this bright light that just radiates happiness and it's refreshing. I feel like I can tell you anything." I told her
She smiled and said,
"Finn, I'm flattered, but I don't think Quinn would be very happy with you doing thar. She already hates me and I don't want that to affect your relationship. I like you Finn but after we hooked up ... I think it would just be complicated for us to be friends." She told me
She started to get up when I took her hand,
"Please stay Rachel , I know it's complicated but...." I paused for a moment trying to build the confidence, " having sex with you wasn't a mistake . It was the best sex I ever had and I know I'm with Quinn and that makes things complicated but... if I kissed you right here, right now could you honestly say you don't want it?"
She looked at me shocked and came closer,
" I..... I'm sorry Finn , but I just don't have the heart to do that to you. I don't wanna ruin you." She said and left .
