Two months to one year
"Baba..." Avni entered the room and Manik closed his laptop little too harshly making Avni and Nandini, who walked out of the closet look at him weirdly.
"Haan Kiddo? Kya hua?" He asked
"I wanted your help with my homework" she said looking at Manik suspiciously
Nandini shook her head seeing Manik not able to cover up his slip up
"Ok" Manik said and looked at Nandini, then his laptop. Avni observed it
"I'll take care of it" Nandini said and rolled her eyes, taking the laptop and leaving.
Avni came in with her books and sat with Manik as Nandini took away Manik's laptop.
Manik started to teach her and Avni kept looking at him suspiciously. She knew something was up
"You were getting me a present?" she asked
"Why will I get you a present?" Manik asked acting all unaware
"Because what's next week?" she said
"What's next week?"Manik asked her frowning and she narrowed her eyes. She saw Manik hid a small smile while passing her book and smiled herself
"Nothing" she said chuckling and he looked at her, wasn't she going to throw a trantrum that he forgot her birthday.
"You don't think I am forgetting something very important which is coming next week" he asked her
"If you forgot it's not improtant" she said with teasing eyes but Manik felt hurt
"It is important, it is something very important..." he said and Avni smiled at him
"Then how did you forget it?" she asked
"I didn't forget ok, infact I was getting your gif..." Manik said
"Manik!" Nandini came back yelling seeing him blutter out
"Gotach!" Avni said snapping fingers at Manik
"You devil" Manik held her hand and hit her with pillow and she punched Manik with her hands
"Aahh Avni it's paining, you are not a kid, your hand hurts" Manik said hitting pillow on her face and she fell back on the bed with the blow
"Dono baap beti band karo ladna!" Nandini yelled making both stop.
"Manik help her with home work and get her for dinner on time" she said and left.
As she left Manik and Avni picked up pillows and started fighting again.

Avni walked out of the bathroom to see Arav sitting on her bed with a box.
"I got you macarons" he said and she just went to her dresser drying her hairs.
"Mujhe nahi chaiye tera kuch..." she said
"Anni..." he started
"Kuch mat bol" she yelled
"Kitne chance chaiye tujhe, main de rahi hu kiske saath nahi par tere saath main bahut patience hu par tu mujhe bahut hit karta hai..." She said and he hugged her and kissed her forehead
"Sorry" he said cupping her face
"Nahi chahiye sorry..." she said glaring at him
"I love you yaar" he said and she glared again
"Accha ok, ok sunn" he said giving her box of macrons and she started to eat it
"Tera birthday plan kar raha hu, tujhe nahi involve kar sakta na, kitna stupid hoga, tere birthday suprise ki planning mein tu hai" he said and she nodded having her macrons
