Manik and Nandini cut the big three layers cake and the family and guests cheered. Manik kissed Nandini's forehead and while he was doing that Nandini kissed his chin making him chuckle. He feed her the cake and she fed him the cake and Mukti was taking their pictures.

"I love you" they said together and chuckled again.

The Murty's saw this. Some adored. But Prakashan and Girish made faces. Prakashan said "Big people! They have no culture! How are they kissing and touching each other in front of people... Tuch... Tuch" he said making a bad face. The Murty's herd it but no one sid anything.

Rishab walked to Nandini and Manik who were feeding cake to the family. He stopped in front of Nandini. Manik saw him and stopped while feeding cake to Cabir. Nandini who was feeding cake to Druv stopped and looked at him. He cleared his throat and smiled at Nandini saying "We'll take a leave now..."

He smiled at her and was going to walk away when Nandini held his hand. Manik smiled seeing that. Nandini kept looking for a minute. Rishab looked at her with anticipation. Nandini looked away and then again at him and said "Khana... Khana kha ke jana..." she said and looked at the cake in her hand and then at him. For a second she wanted to feed it ti him. He was a small boy when she had last seen him. He had nothing to do with all this. But giving into him meant taking a step towards the Murty's and she didn't want it. She cancelled her thought and just walked away.

Girish saw her walk away and looked around and left behind her.

Manik saw Nandini going in the house and then Rishab a sad smile.

"Please have the dinner... Aise hi you all will leave toh we won't like it" Manik told him and that's when one of the guest came congratulating him. He smiled and greeted them so Rishab walked to his family

"Dinner karke chalte hai" he said to the family

"But Rishu, Kanna..."

"Amma" Rishab cut her

"She is not your Kanna any more. Unn ki apni life hai abhi. And she is happy. Please just let us respect her decision and let her leave happily." he said and looked at his father who still didn't looked satisfied by his statement

"Let us talk to her once" he said and Rishab just shook his head and left

Some staff came and took the cake away and to the food counter.

And Avni came to Manik

"Baba, Amma?" she asked and Manik turned to her

"Kiddo... Amma needs some time alone... Let her be... Aa jayegi woh thik hai?" (She will come back ok?") he said and she bobbed understanding and went to Abhir

Nandini entered a random room in the house and that's when tears start making their way. She started to sob but tried hard not to. She continuously kept wiping her tears and suppressing her sobs. She didn't wanted to cry but uss ko rona aa raha tha (she was crying) Eventually, she was successful in stopping the ters. She saw a napkin on the table and wiped her tears. She started to make herself look presentable and touch up taking out the makeup from her clutch. Feeling satisfied with her work she turned to leave but stopped seeing the person at the door

"What are you doing here?" she asked

"I need to talk to you" Girish said

"I am not interested" Nandini said and was going to walk out when he stood in front of her blocking her exit
