Chapter 1

Note: Hello readers! As I said earlier, this is my first time writing a story. Constructive feedback is welcomed.

Seetha is waking up to this suprabatham since many years. She got down of the bed after rolling on it for sometime and went to check on her plants, water them.

Meanwhile Krishna Prasad returned from his morning walk. She prepared coffee for her father, mixed veg juice for herself & cut the vegetables for making upma.

While preparing upma, she got a video call from her mother hey amma! Wassup lady! Not slept yet? Where are girls & akka? Seetha asked her mother.

Watching an old movie as I'm not sleepy yet. Girls & akka are sleeping. Done with packing ahh chinnu? At what time you both are starting & what's your nanna doing? asked  her mother.('Chinnu' is nickname of Seetha)

Almost done & nanna is doing the last minute packing & weighting the luggage.  We are starting after lunch  Seetha told her mother.

Okay, did you talk to your manager regarding leave ?And next weekend there is Parvati aunty's son's wedding. Please go & enjoy the wedding  said her mother. Parvati is Aruna's childhood friend. She has a son who is finally getting married next week.

Seetha sighed It's really difficult to get 2 week leave amma. Most probably I can't come. Now you & nanna enjoy this vacation, we will plan it next time. I will go  to your Parvati's son's wedding only if you give assurance of her not introducing me to any potential groom  said Seetha while  eating upma.

Hahaha I will tell Parvati not to do such things with you. For me ask your manager once again about leave. Please!! said Aruna. Hmm, will ask one last time. Bye byeeeee.. said Seetha.

Then she went to her father who's talking with his sisters. After the call he turned to Seetha Are you sure about pg chinnu ? You can still stay at Parvati aunty's house or Lakshmi attayya's house. They both felt bad when you told them you are staying in pg for the next 3 months. Think about it ..  said her father. Lakshmi attayya is Kaveri's mother-in-law.

I want to stay in pg nanna. I never got the chance to stay in hostel/ pg, wanna explore it. If I didn't like it then I will go to either of their house. I will talk to them. And I may not join you guys in these 3 months as my manager told it's difficult to give leaves this quarter. Tell this to amma & make her understand nanna, please..  said Seetha remembering her mother's call.

As you wish, but if you didn't like hostel & if you don't want to stay at either of their house tell me. I will return from US said her father knowingly that she will never tell her if that situation arises.

You don't worry nanna. Siri, Kalyan and  some other friends are in Hyderabad only. Everything will be fine. You go enjoy with Aashri & Hari, come to India with them   said Seetha. Krishna Prasad nodded & went to check everything.

Seetha along with her family lives in Vijayawada. Her sister used to stay in Hyderabad along with her husband, kids, in-laws. Three years back Kaveri went to USA for her project along with her kids. Her husband Chandra couldn't go with her for as he shifted his business to Mumbai then& his physical presence is required there. He used to go to them whenever he got time from his work. First 2 years she could manage everything, but then corona happened  &  everything changed. Her younger daughter got sick frequently so she requested her mother to stay with her for the last few months with her. So, Aruna went to USA for 6 months. Later she asked her in-laws, father , sister to come there for a vacation. Seetha couldn't go because of her work commitments, her in-laws couldn't go because of her mother-in-law's health issues. Initially Krishna Prasad doesn't want to go there leaving his younger daughter . But Seetha insisted her father a lot to go & enjoy. Now he is going there for 3 months & after 3 months everyone will be back to India. 

Tomorrow early morning is Krishna Prasad's flight from Hyderabad. So they are packing everything & leaving for Hyderabad in the noon. Though Seetha is working from home for last 2 years because of Covid-19, she is shifting to Hyderabad as their parents don't want her to stay alone in their house.  

They started in the noon & went to Lakshmi attayya's house. After finishing dinner with the family, Seetha went to drop her father, baavagaaru  to airport as Chandra also chose flight at that time to Mumbai. Later she returned home.

Next morning she spent time with Lakshmi attayya & later in the evening she shifted to pg. There she spent sometime with her new roommates & then arranged her things in the cupboard. Later they all had their dinner together. Seetha had a chat with her sister & then call it a night.
