"Can we have some privacy please? Please, mom?"
Noah asks.

"Of course." His mom replies, surprised. She ushers
everyone in the room to leave, only leaving the two of them.

"Was that the switch?"

Rose looks up to Noah. Does he not know that
they were once again soulmates? Should he bring it up?

"Ah, no, I just didn't get enough sleep." Rose lies.
Noah nods, with his hand rubbing the back of his neck.

"So, you and Lia really are soulmates?" Rose asks and Noah nods. "Apparently."

So He doesn't know. Did it only happen to Rose?

"You look good in the tuxedo. Handsome as always" Rose compliments the latter.

"And you're beautiful as always."

"You should be saying that to your fiancee, wjo is waiting for you outside." Rose giggles, of course It was fake.

Without hesitating, Noah wraps his arms around the younger. Rose is taken aback at the sudden action, she feels reluctant but then hugs the taller back. She missed this. She missed how it felt to hug Noah. How his warmth felt and how his cologne smelled when they're close.

Noah tightens the hug. He's so happy to see Rose again, after abandoning her like that. Rose's features only grew more ethereal. She still kept her brown hair which made her more pretty. Her chiselled jaw and her prominent cheeks. She still has those soft doe eyes that he loves to feel lost in. Rose grew a bit taller but her small figure still fits perfectly in his. Noah feels complete.

But he knows he can't.

Not when he's getting married to his soulmate today. And Rose has her own soulmate too.

"I've missed you. So much." Noah says.

"I missed you too."

'I still do.' Rose thought.

The both of them pull away, Noah looks at Rose but the latter doesn't dare to look up.

"Hey, look at me." Noah says, tilting the latter's chin only to see Her glossy eyes.

"I cant. Noah, you left me for three years. You left me with my emotions jumbled up. I cried because of how heart broken I was. I was confused. I was mad." Tears started to stream down her cheeks. She lets out a sniffle. "But I couldn't stay mad at you. I just couldn't. You ruined me, Noah."

" I know and-"

"But you were more ruined. I'm sorry. I should've pushed you to tell me. Otherwise"

"It isn't your fault. It's mine."

Rose shook her head, wiping her tears away. "I can't do this" Rose says walking away but Noah was fast enough to grabs her wrist.

"Please, don't run away from me" He pleads.

"What do you want me to do? What do you want me to say? Three years, Noah!" Rose raises her voice.

"Do you still love me?" Noah asks.

Rose stands there in silence. For the past two years, she never thought about what she would say or react if she ever met Noah again. Rose shook his head. "No, I already have a soulmate. You too."

"Stop lying!"

"I'm not! You told me to move on!" Rose winces in pain as she feels Noah's grip on her wrist tighten.

"Then why are you still wearing that bracelet ?!"

Rose releases Noah's grip from her. She remains silent. Her mouth feels so heavy, she doesn't know what to say.
