Battle of Hogwarts Lecture

"What is it?" Madeline whispered back. We, as in Maddie, Toby and I were having lunch in the Great Hall with Pierre Jordan, Mylor Derleth, Emmeline May and Alice Partridge. All whom were in Gryffindor.

"My mum told me that my sister, who is alive, goes to this school!" He whispered excitedly. Pierre and Mylor's mouth dropped open and Emmeline and Alice giggled excitedly.

"Who is it? Do you know?" Alice asked. They delved into a conversation and I pulled Madeline out of the Great Hall and into the corridor.

"Maddie, there is something important I need to tell you, and you cannot tell anyone." I said very sternly. She nodded her head and I took out the photos of my father, my mother and Uncle George.

"Hey look- It's Professor Mason." She commented. She took the picture and scanned over it. "I didn't know she knew our dads." The photo version of our dads and my mum were smiling happily at the camera, and just before the flash, dad and George put bunny ears behind my mum's head.

"Maddie, that's the thing. That's my real mum." I whispered. Her eyes widened and she froze.

"So you're saying-"

"Yes. I'm saying that Professor Mason could indeed be my mother. I've been thinking about it since I first laid eyes on her. I know we've been at Hogwarts for only like two days, but I know there is something going on. Think about it." I replied.

"Well.. Professor Mason did say that her husband and daughter are still alive." Maddie mused.

"And did you see how she was all awkward when I asked the question?" I insisted. She was about to ask something else when someone interrupted us.

"Shouldn't you two be eating lunch?" A familiar voice said. I took all the pictures from Maddie, stuffed the, into my pocket, and whirled around.

"Dad!" I squealed. I ran up to him and threw my arms around him.

"Uncle Fred!" Madeline yelled. She put her arms around me and him and he hugged us gently.

"Blimey, you've been at Hogwarts for like 2 days." He laughed. "But it's good to see you two."

"Do you want to meet our friends?" Madeline asked. I gave her a look but she just looked at my father pleadingly. My dad nodded and we walked back into the Great Hall.

Pierre, Mylor, Emmeline, and Alice were still talking to Toby. "Hey guys, this is my dad. That's Pierre, Mylor, Emmeline and Alice." I said, pointing them all out. Toby looked at me and raised and eyebrow. I slowly shook my head, but he smiled evilly.

"And I'm Toby!" He bellowed. Our group of friends burst out laughing but dad looked frozen.

"It's great to know that my daughter and her cousin have great friends." Dad commented.

"Hey, you own Weasley Wizard Wheezes, right?" Mylor asked. My dad smiled proudly and nodded.

"Well, Arabella, let's go on a walk." My dad said. I nodded my head and followed him out. I turned my head and looked at Maddie, but she just gave a weak smile. "So, I'm taking it you like it at Hogwarts?"

"Y-Yes. It's great. All the teachers are nice and Professor Longbottom adores me." I replied.

"Ahh Neville, such a sweet kid." Dad smiled. "What about your Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher? You mentioned them in your letter. Are they nice?"

"Absolutely divine! Best teacher in the school, by far." I gushed, completely forgetting about the conversation I had earlier.

"Wow. I need to meet this teacher. You don't mind, do you?" He asked.

****Back to Reality**** 

Maddie's pov

"Yes? What is it Arabella?" I called. I heard her feet shifting around a bit.

"Can you come out? I need to talk to you." I got up and made my self look presentable. Well, as presentable as a ghost could be. I took off my Gryffindor robe so that I was just wearing the floral sundress I wore on the day of my death. I patted my hair down and walked out through rhe door.

"Yes? What is- MERLIN'S BEARD!" I shrieked. I immediatly made myself invisible. Why the heck, in all places, was FRED WEASLEY here?!

"Professor Mason? Dad- Dad!" Arabella shouted. Fred was lying on the ground. He fainted.

"Arabella, stay right here, I will get McGonagall." I instructed. I orbed out and into Minerva's office. "Minerva, I need you to get Harry Potter here this instant." I panted.

"Whatever for?" She asked, standing up.

"There is not time to explain, send him to the Defense Against the Dark arts classroom. Please!" I pleaded. She looked at me a while longer but nodded. I orbed back to my classroom and Fred was still unconscious. "Don't tell Harry or your father I'm here Arabella." I whispered.

She looked up in alarm and I revealed myself. She sighed and then went back to her father. "Help him Professor Mason! Please!" She begged.

"Help is on it's way." I heard footsteps running in the corridor. "Remember, don't say anything about me, just call me professor, do you understand Arabella?" I said quickly. She nodded and I made myself invisible. Not a second later, Harry came running in.

"Bella? What happened to Fred?" Harry asked. I studied him closely and my he's grown up. He is much taller, with broader shoulders and a handsome complexion. His hair was in a little tuft, and he wore the lightining bolt shaped scar proudly on his forehead. His eyes scanned over Fred, who was still on the floor.

"I-I don't know! He took one look at my Professor and fainted!" She cried. Tears were in her eyes and was wiping them furiously. Harry took out his wand and poked it on Fred's neck. A little spark emmited from it and Fred's eyes flew open.

"I saw her." He said breathlessly. I was still standing there, watching them all.

"Saw who Fred? Who?" Harry asked. Bella flung her arms onto her father and he held her.

"Maddie." Fred whispered. Harry's eyes opened in shock and Bella sniffled.

"No Fred- You couldn't have.. She died ten years ago." Harry insisted. Fred shook his head.

"No Harry it was her." He paused. He turned to our daughter and grabbed her shoulders. "What is your Professor's name?"

"Prof-fesor." She stuttered.

"Professor what?" Harry and Fred said. I ran my fingers through my hair and looked at Arabella.

"Professor Mason." She whispered.

"Five points from Gryffindor!" I shouted. I immediatly clamped my hands over my mouth as Harry and Fred looked in my direction.

"I'm sorry Professor!" Arabella squeaked. Harry took out his wand and whispered something.

"Revelare Spiritum." His wand let out a white haze and when it touched my skin, it turned blue. I gasped as they realized that I was here. "Reveal yourself. As the Head of Auror office, you have to obey or I have permission to use force." Head of Auror office? Man, Harry really has grown up!

"You can't kill me. I'm already dead." I pointed out, trying to talk in a higher town to disguise my voice.

"True, but unless you want to keep your job at Hogwarts, I suggest you reveal yourself." He said menacingly.

"Please don't be angry." I whispered, giving up. I revealed myself, and then they both took one look at me before fainting. "Ain't that lovely Arabella, I made your father and Uncle faint." I said sarcastically. She wiped her tears away and smiled. "Should we let them wake up on their own?" I asked her. She didn't answer so I just sat at my desk, waiting for them to come through.
