As we arrive in NYC, Katerina is asleep when we make it to the hotel. We are staying at the Ritz in room 100. I gently wake up Katerina and "We are in New York City," I whisper. She wakes up a little more and gets out of the car. I vamp-speed to the other side of the car to hold out my arm. She smiles and grabs a hold and we turn to the car that pulled in after us. A woman gets out, "Hello, I am," I start. "I know who you both are," the woman says. Katerina gives her a look, "Anna made sure that I knew who you were before sending me," she says explaining herself. "My name is Juliet, I am the hybrid that is for your protection," she says. Katerina nods and makes a face, "Come on," I say guiding her to the hotel. We spoke briefly to the receptionist before heading towards our room.

For the first day in NYC Elijah and Katherine went to the Empire state building. "You aren't bored are you," Elijah asks nervous. Katherine laughs and shakes her head. "Rebekah tried to bribe to say no to all the dates you planned," Katherine says after a moment. Elijah rolls his eyes. "Of course she did," he mutters. Elijah smiles and leans forward and kisses Katerina. "You know if you kiss me again, I think that this date won't be boring at all," Katerina whispers. Elijah smirks, "That is something I can do," he replies with a smirk.

Elijah and Katerina have plans to go skating at Rockefeller Center. Elijah compelled someone to let them in when it was closed so they could use their vampire speed. An entire day of ice skating and going up the 30 Rock tower. Of course for the set of soulmates with a complicated history there was a bit of making out as well.
